I love art museums and this, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is one of my favorites. They've got a myriad of educational and extremely gorgeous exhibits, five galleries, and much, much more. Maybe even stop in for a workshop. I can't wait to visit again this year.

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Udinotti Gallery exhibits paintings, sculptures, ceramics, fine and contemporary art, especially those that lay emphasis on figures and expressions. They also have a permanent collection of artwork called the Udinotti Museum of Figurative art and is open only by appointment. This museum holds three to four exhibitions a year as a way to educate the general people on the evolution and importance of figurative art.

With over 15,000 square feet of space, this is one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in the regions and more than 50 artists have showcased their work here. The gallery also publishes catalogs and books that document solo-exhibitions including critical essays, color reproductions and biographies.

Come to learn what denotes an Impressionistic work. Dedicated to California and Russian Impressionism, this facility possesses roughly 300 paintings by more than 100 artists in its permanent collection. A collection of statuary is included as well in this museum. Guided tours are easily arranged, please call ahead to make arrangements. Admission is free.

If you are interested in more firefighter entertainment, visit the Annual Fire Prevention Parade. Admission fees range from $1 to $5 per person.
