Wine tasting in Mosel valley

This is for people that like wine and wine tasting, castles and scenic routes. The route isn’t that long and you probably could do it in one day, but why not take it slow and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and maybe stay in one of the small villages in the valley. The country is most beautiful and you can stop to take many scenic photos here. The most famous town you will pass is Trier, which is Germany’s oldest town. It goes back as long as to the Roman Empire.

Neuschwanstein Castle – Sleeping beauty’s castle

This castle is truly amazing, and if you wonder why I put “sleeping beauty’s castle in the headline, it’s because Walt Disney really used this castle for inspiration while drawing sleeping beauty’s castle in Disney land! The castle itself lies in beautiful surroundings, overlooking the valley of Hohenschwangau and is really worth a visit.

Dachau

Dachau is a concentration camp used in World War II, and a visit here is an experience you’ll never forget. If you’re here, be sure to take a guided tour to really learn about the horrific things that happened here. The visit will not be cheerful, but could not be more important to learn about, so that we can prevent it from happening again. This is also stated on a statue in the grounds that has the description of “Never again”.

German Alps

A visit to the German Alps is not to miss. Great skiing with lots of snow in winter and beautiful for walking in summer. The scenery is breath taking and the small genuinely German villages invite you to enjoy a great holiday filled with good food and drinks.

Octoberfest

Every year in late September, several millions of people from all over the word gather in Munich for the famous October fest. Two weeks of partying to celebrate German beer. You can try all different kinds of beer and decide which one you like to most, learn where it’s produced and buy some to take home. Make sure to plan ahead, it will be crowded!!
