63 Building

Opened in 1985 and standing 63 stories, this building is the tallest in Seoul. It serves as a major attraction from where you can get the best panoramic view of the capital. Within the building, there are offices, restaurants, coffee shops, banquet halls, an aquarium, and an IMAX theater. The aquarium is most impressive. It houses 400 different species with a total of 20,000 fish.

Yeouido Park

It is difficult to imagine that this picturesque park was covered with black asphalt for 27 years. Today, it occupies 229,539 square meters. It consists of four main areas: a traditional Korean forest, a grassy field, a cultural event plaza, and an ecological forest where you can get a glimpse of different aquatic plants and insects. You can also rent a bicycle and take a ride along the scenic bike path, which extends 2.4 kilometers.

Aquarium 63 SeaWorld

This is one of the largest indoor aquariums in all of Asia. For those with an interest in underwater life, this is an excellent opportunity to observe more than 400 marine species. Apart from 20,000 types of fish, including sharks, this aquarium also features crocodiles and penguins. If you tire of watching the beautiful and colorful marine life in the large tanks, why not see a special attraction here, such as a fur seal, harbor seal or northern sea otter show. The mermaid show features a female diver swimming amongst the fish.

KBS Korea Broadcasting System

KBS is a huge broadcasting organization consisting of four buildings: the main building, annex building, new building, and KBS Hall. These buildings house the various headquarters of the organization, such as broadcast operations, news and sports, engineering and administration. Live programs are recorded here in studios, and some of these are open to the public. Visitors may look around the studios and a public reception area is open. If you are lucky, you might even get to see some of Korea's top stars while visiting.
