Moussandra

Set in a nice and cozy atmosphere, this restaurant serves great tasting Mediterranean food. Located at Jalan Bukit Bintang, you cannot miss the quaint looking building. The lighting plays an important part with candles placed at strategic spots for a romantic meal. The overall design and setting of the place has a very traditional Mediterranean feel. Here you can sample many Mediterranean favorites such as the Tapas and meze, which is equivalent to Chinese Dim Sum. There are also special lunch promotions on offer. Fresh fruit juices are a must.

Little Havana

This cigar divan is a great place to relax and unwind, as it features an excellent selection of fine cigars from around the world. Tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas and rattan lounge seats, Little Havana also has a well-stocked walk-in wine cellar. Upstairs is the venue for some irresistible and adventurous cuisine, where the Hemingway Restaurant serves great Cuban fusion food. Sample exotic cocktails as you make your selection from an excellent assortment of single malt whiskeys and hand-rolled Havana cigars.

Hard Rock Cafe

This world famous nightspot with good food and talented live acts needs no introduction. If you are not into crowds, make sure you come in before 10p, for the place fills up fast. The souvenir shop has wonderful items, and if you're into big bikes, check out those rotating Harleys at the entrance. The wide choice of Western food here is enticing. The Black Pepper Steak is one of the favorites and it goes really well with the stuffed potato skins. A variety of alcoholic beverages are served.

Pacifica Grill & Bar

If you want to impress, venture into this award-winning restaurant, one of the trendiest upmarket eateries in Kuala Lumpur. This restaurant sports a chic and elegant look. The wafting aromas of meals being cooked in the open-plan kitchen lend a warm and relaxing ambiance. Specializing in funky fusion fare, the presentation of food is a work of art, especially the dessert sampler selection. Aseana Café

This quaint little cafe is located inside Aseana's Home & Gifts--a galleria selling ethnic Asian goods. As there is no wall partition between the cafe and the rest of the store, you get to dine amidst all the beautiful things on sale. An outdoor seating area is also available on the veranda. The menu offers Asian dishes such as the Fried Lobster Meat and Braised Special Shark's Fin. For something light, try the Tea Time set served daily 3:30p-6:30pm with a free flow of coffee or tea. Fruit juices are also available.

The Kapitan's Club Restaurant and Bar

Walk down memory lane when you dine in this old Chinese mansion. This airy restaurant is scattered with old pictures and quaint wooden cupboards full of knick-knacks. The menu offers mostly Nyonya (blends of Chinese and Malay) such as Nyonya Curry Laksa (noodles in spicy thick soup), but a limited western fare is also available. Complete your dining experience by adjourning to the bar to sample the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and to have a last glance of the unforgettable surroundings.

Chili's Grill & Bar

Popular among expatriates and professional crowds, American Chili's Grill & Bar is usually well patronized, especially on weekends. A solo diner would not feel lost in this place, as there are a number of TV screens around that cast sporting events endlessly. This fine restaurant has been listed in Malaysia's Best Restaurant guidebook each year since 1994. Truly elegant, this Japanese-style establishment is well decorated and sports a rustic look. Recommended tables would be those by the floor-length windows, overlooking the small Japanese-inspired garden. Although the menu may not be extensive, it is sure to satisfy. Everything Japanese is served here from sushi and sashimi to sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and tempura. The quality of the raw fish is exceptional. Sake or beer is available.
