Europe

This is just a short guide to some of the places in Europe that I remember something special about, something that Ill never forget, and places where I think others can go and remember things such as sitting on the lawn at night in front of the Eifel Tower.

Eiffel Tower

The Eifel Tower, make it a point to see it both at night, and during the day, as they offer a completely different view. Be sure to make it to the top, as it is a breath taking experience. Many visitors write a little something at the top of the tower, although I'm not sure it's encouraged or even allowed, but most of it is names of loved ones and such, and does little to defame the beauty of the Eifel Tower. At night, be sure to make your way to the spacious lawn that sits in front of the tower, and have a rest alone or with a loved one and watch the tower light up before your eyes. It is most definitely one of those things in life that is a must see.

Musée du Louvre

The Louvre is just astonishing. To see all those great works all together just blows your mind away. It's not just about the Mona Lisa, which I really didnt get to see because of the hundred of others that were all crowded around it, trying there best to get a glimpse, but because of the thousands of other peices of artwork that are housed here. The Place is just put together beautifully, in structure and organization, it really is like no other musuem in the world.

Colosseum, Rome

I've mentioned the Colosseum in other guides, so I'll be short here, however the Colosseum is another one of those places you just have to see. It goes beyond the structure, the history behind it, or the town that surrounds it, it's about being inside the Colosseum and imagining yourself when it was in its prime, completely enveloping yourself in it. Check it out for yourself, it really is a wonderment.

Vatican City

I've also mentioned this in other guides, but it also can't be forgotten. Being here at the seat of catholicism, and knowing that your in the same building as the pope, one of the most influential people in the world. It defies belief, and I kick myself know for being a kid at the time and not realizing all the great places I've been.

Leaning Tower of Pisa, Pisa PI

The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Really worth the trip if your in the area, if but only to get that famous picture of yourself that everyone take, where if you stand at the right angle with your hands in the air, it looks as if you are holding up the tower. You can also pay a little and make your way to the top of the tower that offers a great view of the surrounding countryside.

Anne Frank House

This suprised me the most. The Anne Frank House, its just a tiny little ordinary house along the street, that if you didn't know where you were going, you would pass right by it, save for the signs and plaques that tell you your at the right place. It reall has been kept almost entirely original, besides the exhibit cases and such inside. You do get a certain feeling of sorrow when you are inside browsing all the exhibits, you really feel the pain that all these people suffered.

Venice

Venice, the famous floating city. Probally the most famous thing about the city is the gondola rides through the cities canals, I never took one myself, but can imagine that they would be quite memorable on the right occasion with the right company. There are other things to do in Venice, such as shop, or check out the amazing structures in the many exhibits that show how the city was made on "floating" platforms.
