Yellowstone National Park, WY

This is definitely the top park in the country. This is really the only park I've been to where you can actually see ANIMALS instead just trees and rock formations. Old Faithful is also a huge plus.

Yosemite National Park

This place is beautiful. There are lots of outdoors activities and great campgrounds to make your trip memorable. The contrast of granite, greenery, and glaciers is stunning to say the least.

Grand Canyon, Arizona

A glory to behold. It is incredibly beautiful at sunset when the layers of rock glow red. I wish I had had the time to make the trek down to the river (it takes the better part of a day and even experienced hikers are advised against trying to go to the river and back in a single day). For that reason alone I want to go back. I also saw some elk on the road, which was pretty cool.

Sequoia National Park, CA

Frolic among the Giant Sequoias. This is really a magnificent place to hike in the summer. You can also tour the enormous Crystal Cave.

Redwood National Park

Think Giant Sequoias but even bigger. These redwood are the biggest living things on Earth. This is mostly a driving-through park however.
