Unique Thrift Store‎ is a great store to start out at. There is a lot of great hidden gems tucked away in the racks of clothing. You can get a lot of top brands at very low prices. Everything that is sold at Unique is very high quality and has no stains or holes. I was able to find quite a few pairs of designer jeans for very low prices whenever I last went there. Unlike a lot of stores of this type the staff at Unique was very friendly and helpful. They offered to aid me in finding whatever I was looking for.

Brown Elephant Resale Store

The Brown Elephant has a lot of fun and unique furniture. They have a lot of retro, modern, and even antique nick-knacks and furnishings. I saw a lot of things that caught my eye while I was visiting, including a very lovely dining room set. I would have bought it but my house was too far away for me to run away with it! :) If you're looking for clothing they have that, too, but where they really shine is their furniture, as already mentioned. If you're looking for cheap and hip furnishings I would recommend visiting the Brown Elephant as your first stop.

Disgraceland

I was first drawn to Disgraceland‎ because I thought the name was very unique and interesting. It made me laugh so I had to visit. Located in downtown Chicago most everyone will have easy access to the services they provide. They mostly specialize in second-hand clothing. I found a lot of great brands here and the prices were out of this world! The cashier that was on duty was very nice and polite. She seemed to care about the customers.

Knee Deep Vintage

The Knee Deep Village was a very cool place. There was a lot of vintage and retro clothing that could make just about anyone look like a rock star. While they do mostly have a lot of old clothing goodies, there is a very small assortment of furniture. I particularly like the vintage paintings that hang on the walls here. Very cool place.

This thrift store is tailored to women and has a lot of cool and funky clothing for the gals. If you're a woman there is no doubt you'll love The Daisy Shop. There's a wide range of clothing from all eras and styles. No matter what you're into it's probably here.

Family Thrift Store

Family Thrift Store‎ is an excellent place to find thrifty items for the whole family. They have clothing for everyone from toddler to adult. Everything is well organized and very low price. If you're looking for a certain favorite brand of clothing there is a high chance they they have it here. What I was most impressed about was the large range of sizes they carried. Even the most hefty of men could find something comfortable to wear here.
