Singapore Art Museum

It is a lovely museum, closed to Dhobi Ghaut, with about 4000 art collections in its 13 galleries. I cherished every moment of my one hour in the museum. I liked almost all the work, especially masterpiece works of Leonardo da Vinci and Guggenheim. I came to know that it has largest art collections in the region.

This is a very large and good museum of Dubai. I could see here Indian, Arabian and Italian jewelry and lots of jewelry manufacturing units. There is option to get own designs manufactured on the spot and I used this facility to get one for my sister. I could also see some exclusive stuff of pearls.

It is living museum of Malay. Exploring the Malaysian living is enjoyable here. Also there are some old living things that are exhibited nicely. Museum is small with a nice garden. I enjoyed not only the Malaysian life style but also the Melaka River that flows nearby.

An old building and very famous museum of Dubai, Dubai museum is also called National museum of Dubai. There are lots of items like music instruments, weapons and other cultural and life styles of ancient Dubai. I especially liked the pottery work. Museum is must to be visited when in Dubai.
Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum

Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum

Baba and Nonya, as the name goes, this museum has many historical items related to these both. Malaysian Art, Malaysian culture and antique items are on display here. Museum is old but presents nice stuff that includes some paintings and Penakaran family living style.
