Bangalore is considered as Silicon Valley of India. Apart from all those huge It companies, you could see traditional old constructions as weel. There is a huge park known as Cubbon Park where you can spend hours sitting on a stone, bigger roots of trees or even under bamboos.Another attraction is a Zoo named as Bannergatta National park, where you can see lots of Tigers and other wild animals. You can also have a safari ride inside the park. Other attractions are JayaMahal palace, VIdhan saudha, St. Mary's cathedral, HAL helicopter division, Etc etc, You may take 2-3 days to go through all these and this place is so green, full of trees and dont worry, you will get all continental food and five star stay. Beware: Traffic is too bad.

Mysore, Karnataka

This is only 3hrs Journey from Banglore, by road. The main attraction of Mysore is Mysore Palace. Better time to see the palace is Oct- Nov, when the festival Dhessera comes. The Palace itself is something to see, let alone the things in it. This palace visit itself takes a full day. Then there is a Zoo, which is very vast and good compared to all other ones, which i have visited. They have all Giraffs, Elephants, Tiger,Lion etc etc,All kinds of Birds, almost all reptiles..Dont miss this, when you ever get a chance to visit Mysore. Then there is a temple named as Chamunderwasi.. it is also a nice spot.

Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu

Kanyakumari is situated at the boardee of Tamil nadu and Kerala. The main attraction in Kanyakumari is the sunset from its beach. and then "Swami Vivekanda Stone". This stone is situated in the middle of the sea, not very far from shore. You can travel by a boat towards that, that it self is an exciting part of this. When you reach there, there is a Temple sort of place where they kept writings and remains of Swami Vivekananda. Then other attraction of Kanyakumari is a Gandhi memorial, where you can find Gandhiji's Spectacles and all. You can also buy Sea shell decorations, different colour sands in packets, all very cheap from small shops on the shore

Kovalam, Trivandrum, Kerala

Kovalam beach is something you have to experience. People comes over hear just to sit and talk and see the sunset. There you will get all tradtional food,kerala specials and then a chance to dive into the sea. There are beautiful resorts if you want to stay. Trivandrum airport is very close to this. There are lots of small shops where you will get all seashell stuffs like mirrors, earrings, necklace, etc, home made,which costs only some p's.

Madikeri, Karnataka

Coorg is the best place to stay when you need a change from your busy life. It is stunning, refreshing and exciting place. There are somany spots which you can go, one of which is a water fall called Abbey fall, natrural, bigger, and what else. Then comes the Forest in through which you can have a lazy walk , an elephant ride, feed the elephant if you want. there are some resorts inside these forest area, if you want to stay in. Dont forgot to see the water stream goes behind the forest. Then thereis Tibeaten temple, have A bigger dome in Gold, which is another breath taking view. You may get to see some rituals of them as well. Book a hotel before you go,if you prefer a 5 star stay, or else you can have cheaper home stays.
