He helped establish and serves at St Anthony Shelter for renewal, a night shelter for NYC's homeless. He also works with the Catholic Underground, a cultural apostolate of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal for young adults, built around evenings of adoration, music, poetry, visual art, dance, film, and drama that begin and end with prayer. Fr. Agustino has also worked as a missionary with youth and young adults in Central America, Europe and the United States.

Catholic Underground began in Hollywood a few months ago and has been bringing out over 400 people for music, prayer, poetry, and fellowship.
