Stone Soup Gallery & Framing

This place specialises in making frames. It also hosts exhibitions of local artists. For custom frames, try and get aquainted with Melissa Doucette, who designs and makes them right here.

Helio Gallery

Look what happens when a steel sculptor, a graphic design artist and ceramicist come together. You get a gallery called Helio which excels at manufacturing art that is usable and beautiful. Works in island iron, textiles, and vegetable prints are the objects of your attention and affection. Only advice, buy them!

Harrison Gallery

Helen Harrison is the founder cum owner of this gallery. Besides displaying creations in wood of her own, this renowned award-winning sculptor has been running the gallery for almost 15 years. Other artists' works share the shelves too! Go get your fix of the innovative and positive!

Lucky Street Gallery

Lucky Street gallery exhibits jewellery, sculptures, fine art and contemporary artwork by internationally recognized Key West based artists. John Martini, Roberta Marks, Susan Rodgers, Carol Munder, Lincoln Perry, Susan Sugar, Duke Rood, and Debra Yates are some local artists who have had shows here. The gallery comes up with new shows every two weeks.

Salt Studio

Salt is a tiny studio owned by Kimberly Narenkivicius, a known photographer. Bahama village and Cuba are some of the subjects covered by this studio. You can take advantage of the workshops held here if fine art and photography is your kind.

Kate's Gallery

When it comes to portraits, Kate Peachey scores. She started this gallery in December 2003. The gallery showcases a variety of arts like painting, portraits, sculpture, furniture and pottery. Kate, herself, uses different media to project her talent - paints, boards, doors, acrylics and oil on canvas and even rocks. The gallery also stocks works of other artists - Anja Marais, Ken Peskett, Dick Moody and the unique cigarette box construction sculptures of Bruce Alexander. Music events, featuring her husband, Carl and some of his friends, are also held here.

Alan S. Maltz Gallery

If you are looking for a different kind of gallery, this is where you should be. Having established this gallery in January 1999, Alan S. Maltz has also created award-winning books like 'Key West Color' and 'Miami City of Dreams' in recent times. Beautiful sunsets, colourful flowers, gorgeous landscape, amazing wildlife... there is nothing that his camera has not caught. So, go ahead and have a look. Click!

Key West Art Center

This gallery, located inside a building, was formerly a grocery store. It was later transformed into an art center during the WPA project, under President Roosevelt. Today, it displays fine art work by local artists and the paintings and sculptures demonstrated here are affordable and of high quality.

Glass Reunions

The gallery has a very apt name - Glass Reunions. Nationally recognised, it showcases the works of over 200 contemporary American artists. The works on display include marvelous collections of kaleidoscopes, fine art glass, glass sculptures, glass lamps, creative lighting, unusual mobiles, gold and silver jewelry and much more.

Gingerbread Square Gallery

Don't let its name fool you - this gallery has nothing to do with food. This place is for art lovers. Gingerbread Square Gallery, established in 1974, is considered to be one of the oldest galleries of Key West. It is home to a wide range of paintings, sculpture, graphics, art glass and much more. It features works of well-known artists, such as Salem, Salinero, Palmer, Steve Walker, Thivo, Sadowski and others.

Kalypso Gallery

In keeping with the name, this gallery displays the rhythms of contemporary art. Paintings with vibrant colours, oil on canvas, pastels, sculptures - you name it and it's here. If you are art-hunting, then don't miss this place!
