Grammy's Lounge

Grammy's is comfortable because the management thankfully does not try to cram in as many tables as possible. Most of the clientèle is Chinese, though a few older expatriates come here for a dance. The bands play soft rock, popular hits from the 70s, as well as Chinese ballads. This is a bottled beer kind of place, offering cheap deals on different beers—mainly from Europe—each month. The late Happy Hour means that a lot of beer is consumed and expect noise, noise, and even more noise when the band is playing.

Lau Ling Bar

Lau Ling, a famous poet in the 2nd Century BC, was apparently extremely partial to the grape, and wrote some of his finest lines when he indulged. This bar in the Hotel Furama is dedicated to the man's spirit. With walls featuring several portraits of Lau Ling, this comfortable, relaxed and stylish bar with live music every evening, attracts primarily business people.

Yumla

Good music, fine alcohol and hip crowd are only some of the characteristics of this place. People come here to party after a hard day of work. The ambiance helps in relieving some of their stress and edge them towards a night of dance and revelry. Welcoming feel and multiple genres of music keep people coming back.

Dragon-I

This bar is the latest rage in Hong Kong and is very popular with the celeb crowd. It is divided into a private room known as the Red Room and a dance floor known as The Playground. Order a Sake or Mojito and groove to the hottest tracks with your friends. This is one place where the night always stays young. Enjoy!

Bocas Tapas and Wine Bar

Flamenco and acid jazz make up the music of this place and has a very uplifting effect overall. The menu consists of authentic Spanish tapas and an impressive 80 bottle wine list. The cocktails are refreshing and the atmosphere light. Booking is also available for private parties and celebrations. Memorable evenings guaranteed!

Melting Pot

The professionally designed acoustics pay homage to the great jazz clubs of New York make Melting Pot a premier destination for jazz, blues and contemporary acts from Japan, Shanghai, Europe and the US. Definitely one of the more unique nightclubs in Hong Kong, the stage is the focal point of this venue for good reason. When visiting acts are not performing, Melting Pot's in house band takes the stage. This is the place to come for a refreshing break from the house and techno pumping dance clubs of SoHo. Pub grub is available for a late night snack although it's on the greasy side. Drink prices can be a bit steep but the bartender has a wicked reputation for making mojitos.

Peel Fresco

This small stage live music venue in SoHo is a welcome contrast to formula following clubs that make up the bulk of Hong Kong's nightlife scene. Small is a key word: the stage, tables, the entire space is on the petite size. This makes the massive paintings on the walls and ceiling seem larger than life, and the effect accentuates the beats and rhythms one hears here after 9:30 most evenings. Soul, funk, jazz, blues, bossa nova and even a folk artist or two can be found on Peel's stage. Being located on Hong Kong's "music street" makes this place is easy to find.

Beijing Club

The three floors and over 12,000 square feet of space, this is one of Hong Kong's bigger clubs. The one word sum of the space is opulent: Australian crystals catch the gleam of color-changing LED lights in the ceiling. Even the restrooms have decadent gold plating! Beijing Club was opened in 2008 and its name commemorates the Summer Olympics held in China's capital. Regular events include Ladies Night every Wednesday.

Ce Top

Ce Top commands great views over Central and Soho from the rooftop patio, where you can drink and mingle on warm evenings. Although pleasant inside, the roof is the best place to drink, especially if Karaoke is not really your way of spending a night out. Mainly popular with young Chinese and a few Westerners, Sundays feature special theme nights. This is one of the best places to get good deals on beers and spirits in Central. Prices remain good until late, even at the weekend, when the Happy Hour does not apply.

Blue Bar

With bold usage of colors and furnishing to match it, Blue Bar is true to its name. Housed in Four Seasons Hotel, this uber-cool bar serves interesting blend of cocktails and boasts of an equally impressive wine list to choose from. Enjoy a drink or two along with the fantastic views from the bar.
