The Capital Restaurant

The superlative restaurant of The Capital Hotel is the deserving owner of two coveted Michelin stars. Internationally acclaimed Head Chef Eric Chavot takes French-inspired haute cuisine to innovative extremes, with seasoning as delicate as the fine Limoges porcelain it is served on. The menu changes regularly, but the discerning gourmet can rejoice in the likes of turbotin on the bone with a fricassée of crèpes and Jerusalem artichokes, or roast saddle of rabbit with sweet onion pastilla. With subtle yet exquisite décor and faultless service, it is a choice location for both business and social occasions. Private suites are also available.

Noura

Visit Noura for some mouth-watering Lebanese treats like tabbouleh, kafta, and many more. Jointly owned by brothers Nader and Jean-Paul Bou Antoun, Noura is as popular as their other establishments in Paris. The menu is extensive and selection can take time. Begin your meal with the Mézzes menu (appetizers) or try one of the Fish soups. The main course menu features many lamb dishes. Don't forget to treat yourself to some amazing Lebanese desserts like baklawa (layered pastry with almonds, pistachios or pine kernels) and mouhallabieh (Lebanese pudding). And if there is room for more, end the experience with some delicious Lebanese coffee. The long open hours make it a reliable place for any short notice plans. Although this place can get a little packed in the evenings, the traditional cuisine it offers makes it worth the visit.

One-O-One Restaurant

One-O-One is one of the four restaurants in the stately Sheraton Park Tower. This is the ideal venue for seafood. Indulge in the signature dish like Seabass encrusted in Brittany Rock Salt, which is creatively prepared. Other exotic, not-to-miss dishes include Warm King Crab Leg and Black Truffle Risotto. Balance your meal with one of the wines from the extensive wine list.

Ishbilia

Have a taste of the Arabian nights at this Lebanese restaurant. The uniqueness of the cafe lies in the fact that the clientele features mainly business suits in the day and romantic couples for dinner. Sample the famous Lebanese dishes like the Molukhieh, Sheikh Mehshi and the Bamia (okra, meat, fresh garlic, and coriander in tomato sauce). The name of the place gives nothing away. Owned by a mother-daughter team, this thoughtfully done up venue features a bar downstairs and a main restaurant upstairs. Viktor serves authentic traditional as well as contemporary Japanese fare. Some mouth watering appetizers include Almond Honey Shrimp Tempura and Cold Shabu-Shabu - cooked beef served with home made tofu. Follow it with the popular Chicken Teriyaki or the Beef Steak. The entire venue can be booked for private parties to accommodate up to 200 people. It also has a branch in St Petersburg.

Santini

Santini offers classic Italian cuisine in an intimate and elegant dining room. The food is a result of traditional recipes, quality ingredients, and simple cooking techniques. Try one of their home-made pastas, and order your favourite champagne to go with it. The all-white decor gives the restaurant a sophisticated, sharp look. If you want to spend a romantic evening here, dine alfresco on the terrace. The exclusive private dining room, comfortably seats up to 30 people and is available for family celebrations and business gatherings. And just for the record, dignitaries like Bill and Hillary Clinton have visited Santini. Now isn't that proof enough of high standards?

De Cecco

Good food, cozy ambience and quality service are the three consistent attributes of this restaurant, and they have generated quite a few loyal patrons! The only downside is that you'll have to tolerate smokers while dining, as there are no non-smoking rooms available. Seat yourself by the window if you want a good view of Kings Road. The contemporary interiors and casual ambience make for an enjoyable evening, and the Lobster Spaghetti is a must-have. If you're planning a social gathering, your search ends here - De Cecco can accommodate from 60 to 150 people.
