Delhi's Devils

This club has all the attractions. A hint of sleaze, plenty of devil masks, tattoo artists, ear shattering bhangra and hip-hop, and flowing spirits. It's like a theme park replete with house of horrors. To sober up, there is an all night cafe on the ground floor. The prices of liquor has been kept down; the best marketing move. The place is packed on Wednesdays and weekends.

Tapas

It's too well-lit for a bar, but it seems to work for many people. Tapas Lounge Bar offers exotic cocktails, mocktails and delicious finger-food appetizers. Regular Latino and sports nights are hosted here.

Opus Lounge

A spacious resto-bar, its terrace overlooks the popular Priya Compex at Modern Bazaar. This place has initiated a midday lounge culture in the city and it's not unusual to find a good number of people relaxing here in the middle of any weekday. Serves multi-cuisine and a good selection of wines. So whether you're here because it's a lad night, or for dinner by candlelight you'll leave with a pleasant aftertaste.

Shalom

Low lighting and sinking sofas. East meets West and graphics loom on sunken wall screens. Shalom epitomizes the coming of age of Delhi's nightlife. On offer are Italian, Moroccon, Spanish and Lebanese cuisines. Do try the Lobster with Saffron and Paprika, and the Chocolate Lasagne. Also standing is not allowed, so remember to book early.

RPM Hookah Lounge

A small bar with an African-Mediterranean decor and soft lighting, it reminds you of exotic Cairo. The bar serves all the regular spirits for very reasonable prices. The hookahs (big, tobacco pipes) are everywhere and can be prepared with a variety of flavored tobacco.

Amazon

A simple and comfortable bar, Amazon serves extraordinary Indian, Italian and Tandoori cuisine. It has grown into a popular hangout primarily due to word-of-mouth. They have an impressive menu of wines and other alcoholic beverages. Weekends can be chaotic.

Thai Wok

Flaming orange walls with cushioned seating under wind-blown canopies, wonderful ambient music and a magnificent view of the Qutub Minar, create a great ambience for diners at Thai Wok. This rooftop Thai restaurant in the Ambavata Complex in Mehrauli, is one of the best places in Delhi to sample Thai cuisine. Pad Thai, pork spareribs marinated in Thai herbs and topped with honey and garlic sauce, stir-fried prawns with green chilies and sweet basil, red snapper in chili-sour sauce, batter-fried vegetables and deep-fried filet of sole tossed in chopped garlic and freshly crushed black pepper, are on offer. Thai Wok also has a mix of delightful cocktails and an extensive wine list including vintages from across the world.

Lizard Lounge

Located in South Delhi's commercial district, Lizard Lounge is a Mediterranean food joint-cum-nightclub. Dimly lit atmosphere, Arabian music, exotic hookahs, potent cocktails and Mediterranean classics like shawarmas, shish kabab create a tavern like ambience. In the evenings, the restaurant turns into a club with the in-house DJ spinning tunes—mostly lounge and hip-hop. Lizard Lounge also features belly dancing once a week. The crowd is mostly young and hip and this resto-bar is apt for anyone who enjoys good food in an ethnic decor.

Café

Located at the pool level with an adjoining waterfall, Cafe at the Hyatt Regency is the perfect place for those in the mood for a good hearty breakfast, in the midst of lush trees and beautiful flowers. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the cafe serves European and Indian cuisines with their own special twist on the flavors. Succulent kebabs, pastas and other mouthwatering dishes served in a la carte make your day! Not just this, sip on a hot cup of aromatic coffee or taste the flavored Indian tea. Good food anytime, at this place. Cafe is popularly known for hosting international food festivals very often.

It's Greek To Me

It's Greek to Me offers an authentic Greek dining experience. Not only does it serve exclusive Greek cuisine but in keeping with the Grecian tradition of 'kefi' (spirit of joy and enthusiasm), you can break a plate on your way out if you have enjoyed your food. The food is authentic Chinese, well-flavored and nicely presented.
