Canterbury, Kent

Canterbury is one of the UK’s most historical towns, the cathedral is still standing in spectacular condition and the town was featured in the medieval book the Canterbury Tales, there’s an attraction dedicated to them.

Rochester

Rochester was famously the home of Charles Dickens and every year there is a festival dedicated to him, plus it’s a great place for some traditional English food.

Rye

Rye is a beautiful little town close to the sea, It’s famous for scallops and home to one of the UK’s oldest Pubs - The Mermaid.

St Albans

Just outside London so easy to reach by train and worth a visit. It’s relatively small but pretty little town with lots of history and great little restaurants.

Colchester, Essex

One of the UK’s oldest towns, There are Norman, Roman and contemporary buildings to visit as well as great Bars and restaurants
