Hotel City offers both standard and superior rooms, the latter being larger and brighter, and furnished with sofas. The Esplanaden is an affordable, three-star hotel. The hotel puts an emphasis on basic comforts rather than unnecessary luxuries. Hotel Kong Arthur

Hotel Kong Arthur is located in beautifully restored buildings dating from 1882, right by the lakes. All rooms are equipped with radio and satellite TV (with a free video channel), mini-bar, safety box, trouser press and hairdryer. The hotel has its own bar, and a Danish-French restaurant as well as a Japanese one. E-mail and internet access is also available.

Citilet Apartments

Citilet's apartments can be rented for just one night or on a weekly basis. With longer stays it is possible to get discounts, so ask about this. Their large selection includes apartments ranging in size from 270 square feet to 1700 square feet with as many as three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Cable TV and direct telephone lines exist in all apartments.

Hotel Danmark

Hotel Danmark is located just across from Rådhuspladsen, the Town Hall Square, at the heart of Copenhagen's main shopping area. Buses run right to the door, but many of the big attractions like Tivoli, Glyptoteket, the National Museum, Strøget and Christiansborg are within walking distance. Hotel Opera is situated close to the Royal Theater, Kongens Nytorv, Strøget and Nyhavn. Hotel Jørgensen is located a few minutes' walk away from Nørreport station and the central shopping areas. First Hotel Skt . Petri

Hotel Skt. Petrie is a designer hotel, the talk of the town. A department store that has been converted into a five star hotel. The exterior is retro futuristic and the interior is modern with the rooms having wooden floors, draped curtains, all in contemporary Danish style with designer bathroom and skincare products. The color schemes are by the Danish Graphic artist Per Arnoldi. A very comfortable and well designed hotel.

Sophie Amalie Hotel

This hotel is named after Queen Sophie Amalie, who in the seventeenth century refused to leave Copenhagen while it was under Swedish siege. The hotel was built in 1948 and opened under the name Codan Hotel. After a fire, followed by a total restoration, the hotel was re-opened by Remmen in 1986, in its present state. The hotel has 134 rooms and suites, all with cable TV, pay-TV, Internet access, telephone, radio, mini-bar, hairdryer and air-conditioning. The rooms offer views over either Amalienborg Castle, the harbour or the historic buildings of Copenhagen.
