Sipadan Island

Sipadan Island (locally known as Pulau Sipadan) is known as one of the best diving site in world. This island is protected by government of Malaysia, so only few dives were allow per/day. Since the island was protected, only diving activity is allow here - the rest not because in order to preserve the nature of the island.

The underwater life here just like a heaven! - so many unique species found here. The famous site here is Barracuda Point, where you can find so many barracuda species swimming together. There are nine dive spots here and only 120 dives per/day are allow.

Getting here - you can reach from nearest island (Kapalai Island, Mabul Island or Mataking Island). Also you can reach to Sipadan from Semporna, the nearest town.

Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary, Sandakan, Sabah

Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre (also known as Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary) is one of the only few rehabilitation center for apes in world. Orang utan is the only great apes which found outside Africa. At this center, the orang utans were trained about the necessary survival skills - a preparation for them when they will be released to the jungle.

Other than orang utan, this center also treat the famous Gibbons Sumatran Rhinos as well as Sun Bears. Note, if you are going to capture pictures here, please make sure that flash photography are not allowed. Use of cameras, camcorders and etc will be charged about RM10.00

Mount Kinabalu

Mount Kinabalu is another attraction in Sabah, Malaysia. It is said to be a highest mountain in Malaysia as well as Southeast Asia region - with approximately 4100 meters above sea level. Mount KInabalu is located at Kinabalu Park. Hiking here is not easy - it need a very well-preparation and training.

But what the most interesting at the peak of this mountain is the sunrise above the cloud! What a beautiful moment!
