Kiki's Pub

The notice on the door says it all: Looking for a bar with hospitality & good service? Then Kiki's Pub is definitely not for you. But if you're looking for the Blues, well look no more. Open the door and that is what you will hear. The music is not live, but the collection they have is extensive. Customers are mostly foreign regulars, getting off work in the business district but anyone who has an inclination for Blues music is certainly welcome.

Salsa Sudada

This ranks as one of the hottest Latin bars and restaurants in Tokyo. With a long music list and even longer drink menu, the bartenders help everybody get into the rhythm of the night. The food is South American, highlighted by nightly specials. Its full service bar reportedly serves the best margaritas in town. Dance lessons for all levels are offered every Sunday night starting at 6p.

El Cafe Latino

This place is for those who feel trapped in a big city with no place to go. The festive atmosphere and setting of this fun cafe helps to take you out of the big city doldrums with some fun South American cuisine and drinks. The open spaces give diners a sense of room and also make for great dancing throughout the evening. This is a fun place to come with friends in search of a good time and some interesting flavors.

Salsa Caribe

If the concrete and steel of the city and your co-workers are getting you down, come here and unwind to some of the sexiest music around. You can have a drink and sway to the music or let yourself go footloose and find your rhythm to some fantastic Latin beats. Rhythmic swing, merengue and salsa variations are on display here, and if you are not quite up on the latest Latin steps, they have salsa dance lessons daily starting at 7pm. A fun place to come with friends or leave with new ones.

Trading Places

Created for those business analysts and bankers that just cannot pry themselves away from the stock listings, this bar is what one would imagine to find on Wall Street, with an interesting mix of surroundings and visitors. The Bloomberg terminals and cigars are very popular with the financial crowds but the live DJ and sports on TV draw a markedly different crowd. The cuisine serves well made American favorites with a few local dishes available as well. There are events and special nights planned throughout the month for those who require even more stimulus. Trading Places opens for business daily at 6 p.m.

Cantina La Fiesta

La Fiesta is popular among Mexican food lovers because of the authentic tastes and variety of dishes on offer. With a festive atmosphere and fun-loving staff, a visit here would make for a very pleasant evening out. Be sure to try some of the tasty Mexican cocktail concoctions, and the always-popular Margarita at the bar. Popular among young couples and groups, this place reaches out to visitors craving a change and the Mexican food deprived souls who live throughout Japan.

Acaraje Tropicana

Step out of Tokyo and enter Brazil. It is just as easy as that, when you discover the Brazilian home cooking and warm and friendly atmosphere. All you can eat mixed churrasco, tender BBQ pork, chicken or beef, as well as filling stews and salads round out the menu. Try the grilled shrimp for a real taste treat. The aromas, tastes, and festive atmosphere help to conjure up images of carnival. Sunday is dance night from 10p.

Lexington Queen

A club and restaurant rolled into one; with sushi rolls being the main course and TV and film stars being the dessert. The admission fee gets you into the nightclub includes food, and the chance to get a glimpse of famous Japanese personalities that frequent this spot. Non-stop partying, 365 days a year, Lexington Queen gets going later in the evening but come early and energize yourself with sushi prepared by sushi chefs as you watch.

Bombay Cafe

With Indian movie posters and knick-knacks scattered about the dining area, the mixed menu is a bit of a surprise. Along with the anticipated Indian dishes, there is a mixture of Mexican and Thai plates to round out the menu. In the popular boom of international dining that has overtaken Tokyo in the past five years, this cafe is a little mixed up in its menu but the house cocktails and Indian curries are worth a visit.

The Camel

The camel is a great place to enjoy homemade international treats for those who miss more robust flavors. Diners can find hard to find favorites such as hummus, tahini, orange short ribs, meatloaf, Greek salads and even tasty chocolate cake. This could be the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening. Parties can be booked and can accommodate up to 30 persons.

Phothai Down Under

This popular, reasonably priced restaurant combines Australian fare with Thai influences to create a wonderfully ambitious menu. Australian steaks and a variety of spicy Thai dishes make for a refreshingly different dining expereince. The all-you-can-eat lunch special is especially popular. The bar features a wide selection of Thai, Australian and Japanese beers and wines.

Romantei

Take a step back to the Taisho Era, when you enter into this cozy restaurant. Serving fresh seasonal Japanese cuisine, diners can take their time and enjoy their food while they soak up the nostalgic decor and atmosphere. The time will just slip by, while you drink and dine here.
