Le Bistro

Internationally-known Chef Jean-Pierre Doignon trained at Lameloise and won the coveted award of 'Best Apprentice of France'. His career continued in major cities throughout the world and now he delights patrons of this fine eatery. The prix-fixe menu is an exceptional five-course dinner. Choose from several entrees including Aiguillette of Black Angus with tarragon jus or Crispy Duck Magret. 'Le Grand Dessert' is a variety of different taste sensations such as Raspberry Tartelette and Almond Creme Anglaise. Cocktails and excellent wines are also available.

Big Water Grille

Housed in a residential building, the Big Water Grille is a combination of a laid-back bar with delicious food and great drinks. Take in the breeze on its spacious deck in the evening. Get your drink and watch the sun go down. It's simply spectacular to say the least. Everything from steak, pasta to seafood is available here for a moderate price. Meals are cheap and the portions generous. May be that's one reason that makes this place popular with the crowd. Make sure you leave room for desserts or coffee. No reservations required.

Bella Lago Restaurant & Bar

Located in the Incline Village, this restaurant cum bar specializes in serving Northern Italian cuisine to its customers. You will find a full bar and can expect to pay anywhere between $4 to $24 for drinks alone. The food is good but it doesn't come cheap. As this place gets crowded during the peak season, make reservations to ensure a seat at one of the tables. This restaurant remains closed every Tuesday.

T's Mesquite Rotisserie

For lunch, dinner or a light snack, T's Mesquite Rotisserie is the place to visit to satiate those food cravings. Order a quick chicken burrito or plate of tri tip after filling up a drink of your choice at the self-serve beverage bar. Treat yourself to some awesome tacos, sandwiches and burritos. On a lazy afternoon, when sight-seeing seems too hectic, grab a bite here and then catch a movie at the nearby theater.

Rookies

The pub is open 24 hours a day! It's the perfect place to catch a major sports event. You will be surrounded by beer guzzling gentlemen, lots of TVs, pool tables and video games. The menu consists of burgers, sandwiches and the like.

Austin's at Incline Village

Voted Best Family Restaurant by the local media, this restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere with exceptional cuisine and service. For breakfast, try the Mountain Man Omelet with country sausage, red onions and tomatoes for USD6.95. The lunch menu features Grilled Pork Chops for USD7.95 and a Rib Eye Steak Sandwich at USD8.95. For an unusual appetizer, try the Jalapeno-Spiked Wild Boar for USD6.95. A great dinner choice is the New Zealand Orange Roughy priced at USD15.95. Cocktails and wine are available.

Sierra Bagel Factory

This bright and airy shop specializes in a large variety of bagels, deli sandwiches, lox, and pizza. For something new and delicious, try the bagel dough pizzas starting. If you are really hungry, have the roast beef deli sandwich served with your choice of salad and Greek olives. Save room for dessert. This deli serves rich and creamy fat-free frozen yogurt in a multitude of flavors.

Hacienda de la Sierra

It's not just the food, but also the Monday night football parties that pulls in a hip crowd at this buzzing Mexican joint. You can either enjoy the margaritas, or just go for a stack of good-old burritos and grilled fajitas. Happy hour extends from Monday to Friday from 4-6pm. It is an ideal place to relax and sip hot toddy on a cold winter's day and watch the snow fall outside the window.

La Esmeralda

Incline Village's La Esmeralda offers a taste of food from the heart of Mexico. Located in Lake Tahoe, which is a major vacation spot, with gambling resorts along the Nevada shoreline, this restaurant offers the best Mexican cuisine that will satiate your taste buds. Since this destination is a hot spot in winter months too, make sure you book your place well in advance.

Tomaato's

Tomaato's restaurant specializes in offering pizzas to its famished customers. It boasts of a lovely salad bar and fine Italian cuisine to match. With its reasonable prices, it has managed to attract customers from far and away. In spite of its proximity to other eating-places, Tomaato's is a hit with locals and tourists alike. Reserve in advance to ensure a seat in this joint.

La Fondue

The only fondue restaurant at Lake Tahoe. Cook your own selections in the table top fondue pot then dip them in one of many delicious homemade sauces. Hot oil fondues are featured with your choice of filet mignon, lamb, prawns, scallops, chicken, turkey, meatballs or a combination. Of course they have the traditional cheese fondues as well. And then take a dip in some sinful chocolate fondue served with fresh fruit, marshmallows and strawberries.
