El Siboney Restaurant

This is the place where the locals go to eat in Key West. It is a little off the beaten path. Just as it should be. If you go to the Island don't miss this genuine Cuban affordable dining family style experience. I eat here at least once a week.

B O's Fish Wagon

"B.O. 's Fish Wagon is the place in Key West, FL. for an authentic local Fish Sandwich and an Ice cold Beer. Their Slogan is "If it Smells like Fish it ain't Fresh". B.O. stands for Buddy Owen one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He is often hanging around the Patio area. If you see him say Hi, Bubba" I eat here every chance I get.

Turtle Kraals Restaurant & Bar

Turtle Kraals Restaurant, an icon of Key West Is located in the Historic "Key West" Seaport .

It is the former home of A. Granday's Canning company in the early 1900s. The historic 'Kraals' were used as corrals for the green turtles used to make the internationally famous A. Granday's Green Turtle Soup.)

This is one of my favorite places for Breakfast on the Island.

Blue Heaven Restaurant

Blue Heaven is a bohemian casual restaurant where the chickens roam freely in the courtyard. They have a fantastic menu that rotates on a daily basis. You can also enjoy the best Key Lime pie on the Island here under the Banyan tree.

Sunset Watersports Dinner Cruise

While this is not technically a restaurant. It is an experience not to be missed if you want to see Key West like a local and forgot to bring your own boat. The Diner Cruise departs Nightly from the Historic "Key West' Seaport. In addition to fabulous views of the Harbor and the World Famous Sunset Celebration in front of Mallory Square. The boat serves a full Tropical Buffet which consists of Cuban Roast Pork, Black Beans and Yellow Rice with Fried Plantains and Fried Fish. other items rotate on a daily basis. It is not quite as good as EL Siboney but, it's close enough when you consider the location and view.
