King Abdulaziz Mosque at Al-Kharj

This mosque can accommodate up to 2300 worshippers at a time. It possesses separate prayer halls for both men and women, and an outer marble-covered courtyard shaded by palm trees. The building also holds a school, a library, a residence for the Imam and Moazin, and also commercial stores.

Al-Thumairi Gate

Al Faisaliyah Center

The Al Faisaliyah Center's claim to fame is that it is the second tallest building in the country of Saudi Arabia. The structure is said to have been inspired by the tip of a ballpoint pen. If you look hard at the towering structure, you would notice a golden ball - inside this is a restaurant! Need another reason to enter the tower? The Ministry of Information Complex

This complex houses the Ministry of Information, a 170 meter high tower, which is the broadcasting center of Riyadh city as well as a television studio. The Ministry believes in giving the city the latest in television technology and the complex stands as a proof of the same. The tower is intricately designed and you can get a magnificent view of the whole city from the glass structure right on top. The studios in the complex are equipped with contemporary facilities; there is also a theatre that can accommodate up to 800 persons and a film production center.

The Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior is responsible for the security forces of Saudi Arabia and also the smooth functioning of many departments - Health, Education, Courts and Police and Municipalities. The structure that houses the Ministry is spread over an area of 190,000 square meters (2,000,000 square feet). The office building is desigend to look like a reversed pyramid - thus, a narrower base supports broader upper storys. Steel framework consisting of strong, interconnected beams are what achievce the amazing feat of holding the structure together.

Riyadh Exhibition Centre

If it's an exhibition that's taking place in Riyadh, chances are it's taking place at the Exhibition Centre on Olaya Road. This state-of-the-art venue covers an area of 20,000 square meters (215,280 square feet). It features suites, a restaurant, conference facilities, shipping offices, parking, a shuttle service, audio-visual equipment, and a capacity of 10,000.
