Cline Cellars

You can expect to find all kinds of white wines, red wines, rose wines and dessert wines at Cline Cellars. With three vineyards, an 1850's farm house for wine tasting and a list of activities, you can't help being overwhelmed. Events are also held year-round, such as the Cline Jazz Festival and the Winter Winemaker Dinner. Wine lovers can also join the Pendulum Club or the Full Swing Club.

Nicholson Ranch

Nicholson Ranch is a quiet place at the foothills of the Sonoma Valley, just 45 minutes from San Francisco. The sunny days ending with cooler evenings are a perfect setting to taste the fabulous wines made here. The vineyard is spread over 30 acres of fertile land of volcanic soil, where the Nicholson's grow some of the best quality of grapes. They make Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Merlot types of wines, which you can taste by visiting the ranch. The ranch is also an excellent venue to host weddings and private parties.

Ravenswood Winery

Do you want to blend wine of your choice? Then visit the Ravenswood Winery where you can learn to make and blend wine, according to your choice. Everyday, a selection of wines are opened for tasting and choice blending. Visitors are welcome so there is no need to call ahead, unless you want a private tour or want to attend the wine making seminar. To top it all, conventional methods of tasting is not encouraged. Enjoy full body zinfandel which is Ravenswood Winery's signature wine.

Bartholomew Park Winery

Barthalomew Park is more famous for the museum on the premises and the flamboyant past than the stately winery. Formerly State Farm for Delinquent Women, the estate is now home to hand-crafted wines, also offering visitors unending hiking trails. Wines are hand-made and include, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Membership to the Four Seasons Club include discount on wines and complimentary tastings.

Charles Creek Vineyard

Charles Creek Vineyard produces Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon from appelations in Napa and Sonoma. The small family-run business distributes the coveted editions to 14 states. Apart from awards for the wines, the vineyard has also garnered admiration for ground-breaking wine crafting techniques. The interesting tasting room-cum-gallery showcases fine art from local painters. Visitors on the lookout for good wine can also pick a canvas or two.

Buena Vista Carneros Winery

Offering a range of award-winning wines, Buena Vista is a perfect place for tastings and picnics. The estate owns the largest piece of land in Carneros and other than planting vineyards, hosts weddings and other social events. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot are the varietals to look out for. The wine club is great for discounts, information on wine-food pairings and complimentary tastings. Specialty tours can be arranged for groups.

Castle Vineyards & Winery

Castle Vineyards is family-owned and specialize in a variety of reds and whites, namely Zinfandel, Port, Cinsault, Grenache, and Viognier. The tasting room is located adjacent to Girl & The Fig Restaurant and is suitable for a quick session for waiting patrons, sample the innovative wine and cheese pairings. While the shaded garden patio is great for lunches and wine receptions, the premises can accommodate up to 100 guests for private gatherings.

Viansa Winery

Viansa is a premier destination wine and food pairings. The winery retails lesser-known varietals of Aleatico and Primitivo apart from the usual Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties. The on-site marketplace vends wine accessories and gift baskets and doubles as a gourmet deli for salsas and vinegars. Tuscan Club members avail invites to private events, complimentary tastings, discounts, private tours, access to limited edition releases.

Arnold Field

The park gets its name from General Henry "Hap" Arnold, a Sonoma County resident, who served as a Commanding General of the Army Air Force in the second World War. This space is available for public events and is safe enough to be at, as it is taken care of by the County and City officials. This venue is already popular among those who frequent concerts and is considered good enough for any kind of events.
