BC Ferries

If you are from Vancouver to Vancouver Island or visiting the Gulf Islands or Sunshine Coast, chances are you are aboard a boat operated by BC Ferries. Ferries gives passengers the chance to explore the islands and inlets along the province's coastline and see magnificent ocean vistas. Whale-spotting is the most popular way to pass the time on these large and safe ferries. Cost depends on passengers' itineraries and whether they are boarding by foot, bicycle or automobile. Victoria Conservatory of Music teaches music including keyboard, strings, brass, percussion, woodwinds, theory and composition, jazz and music therapy. For it was a former Metropolitan United Church, the original portion of this building dates back to 1890. The building includes original stone facade, stain glass windows and sky lights, spiral wooden staircase, pews and lots of old woodwork including a pipe organ that has been restored.

Oak Bay United Church

This beautiful church was founded in 1926 from the amalgamation of two church communities of St. Columba Presbyterian Church and the Hampshire Road Methodist Church. Oak Bay United Church is involved in various community services and programs for youth, women and children. It also has a well stocked library with religious books for both children and adults. Its facilities are available on rent. The church has a profound presence in the community due to its ever growing social-service work.

Lambrick Park Church

The Lambrick Park Church is an orthodox local community church, started in 1964. The church supports missionary work both locally and abroad. It is traditional and contemporary in its belief at the same time. Sunday services is accompanied by heading to Cafe Suburbia for coffee after service. The church also guides its faithful through various discourses for marital happiness, single parenthood and widely on religious topics.
