Tanzania

The Tanzania serves Moroccan and international cuisine (notably a delicious Filet de Boeuf Sur Pierrade), entertains guests with belly-dancing and music (either live or DJ'ed). In the summer, everything moves outdoors. More so than its cuisine, the cruxes of Tanzania's success are its prime location and festive atmosphere.

Kechmara

With its rows of white 1970s-era chairs, its art exhibits and its gorgeous terrace, the Kechmara is a world in itself. This modern restaurant provides a tranquil atmosphere and serves a simple and light cuisine, but you can also stop by just for coffee or a drink.

La Casa

Frequented by both by tourists and Marrakchis, lounge-restaurant La Casa keeps everyone in high spirits through Latino music and hits from the forties that make everybody dance.

KosyBar

Devotees of the KosyBar talk up the great wine list and the terrace with its marvelous view of Marrakech's historical Remparts de Marrakech. A beautiful grand piano in the bar and Moroccan (and more) cuisine also contribute to its reputation as one of the best addresses in town!

Café Des Épices

Right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Medina's souks, on the square of the spices, sits this lovely coffeehouse. It's a great place to enjoy a well-deserved break with a mint tea or, to make it more original, a spicy coffee or tea. You can also order salads, sandwiches or tajines. The place is decorated tastefully in warm shades, from ochre to purple. You will have a nice view of the medina's flat roofs from the terrace. Art exhibits are also constantly on display here, and wireless internet access is available for customers.

Trio Latino

You'll celebrate Latin America every night at Trio Latino! In a warm Cuban setting, people come to eat tapas and tacos, drink fruite cocktails, and, above all, to let it all hang out on the dance floor, grooving to salsa and samba rhythms.

Café de France

Café de France is right on the famous Jemaâ El Fna square. It is consequently frequented by tourists who enjoy a tea on its street-side terrace or, even better, on the terrace overlooking the square with its noisy bustle. You can also eat a full meal, but it may take time until you get served.

La Table Du Marché

Christophe Leroy has exported to Marrakech the concept of his famous Saint-Tropez restaurant Table Du Marché. His business success lies in the blending of quality and conviviality. Coquille Saint-Jacques Poêlée, Piedmontese Risotto or Chicken Basteeya: Moroccan and French Mediterranean cuisines both have a place on the menu. The restaurant also serves as a tea house. A special children's menu is available.

Fondation Culturelle Dar Bellarj

Faithful to its mission, Foundation Dar Bellarj promotes Moroccan art through shows that take place in a magnificently-renovated riad. Located in the vicinity of the Médersa Ben Youssef, people come here to stroll and enjoy the calm while sipping a cup of tea and gazing at the artwork.

Dar Cherifa

This coffee shop hidden in the medina occupies a 500-year-old mansion that has been brilliantly restored, evidenced by its grand patio. Admiring this beautiful piece of Saadian architecture while sipping mint tea, you'll fall under the spell of the contemporary art exhibits held here. Dar Cherifa also holds poetry readings, concerts and literary meetings.
