Diamond Peak

This is absolutely the best skiing in the area if you want a challenging ski course. The view of Lake Tahoe is breathtaking at the top of The Great Flume or Golden Eagle Bowl runs. The resort offers cross-country skiing, childcare and a wonderful sports shop. If you are really ambitious, try snowshoeing. You can even bring your dog along for a small fee. Shuttle service is available from most major hotels in the area.

Camp Hyatt

So you're having a nice family vacation at Lake Tahoe but the kids are driving you crazy because they are so bored. This camp may be the answer to all your problems. Supervised activities for children age 3-12 are provided here daily during the summer and weekends in winter. The sessions are half-day, full day and evening. Some of the fun stuff to keep the little tykes busy includes arts and crafts, movies, computer activities and bowling. This camp is offered to children of Hyatt Hotel guests only.

Golf Courses at Incline Village

For a challenging golf game, you must give this resort a try. The executive 18-hole mountain course is 58-par and designed by Robert Jones Trent, Jr. This is the ideal place if you want to improve accuracy. It was literally carved out of the mountains, and there is no artificial landscape. Your only major distraction will be the incredible views of Lake Tahoe. Available at the same location is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It has a pro shop and offers lessons by appointment. Tournaments can also be arranged.

Tahoe Rim Trail

This is perhaps the most scenic and popular trail in the country. It winds 150-miles through national forest, wilderness and park lands. Hike, bike or horseback ride in the thick conifer forests and beautiful meadows. Unlimited panoramic views are at every turn, from horizon to horizon, high atop the granite peaks. Visitors can fish, picnic or camp along beautiful streams and lakes. Enjoy it for a few hours or even a few days, but remember to leave it as you found it. To hike on this trail, you must register at the kiosk at the trailhead.

Bowl Incline

This place is great for the entire family and should be right up your alley. Under one roof you find all you need to have a day of fun and adventure. It offers 16 bowling lanes with automatic scoring so not to distract from your game. Bumper bowling for kids is available upon request. Also available are six pool tables, a video arcade, a lounge with cocktails available, video poker machines, and a full swing golf simulator. Prices are $3.00 per game before 6pm, $3.75 after 6pm, and $2.25 for shoe rentals.

Championship Golf Course

Located along Lake Tahoe's North shore, the par 72 Championship Course offers a truly memorable golf experience. The course reopens on May 13, 2005. It is brilliantly designed, and combined with exceptional amenities and services. Target distances range from 75-200 yards that allow a variety of play options. There is no fee for the chipping and putting area but make sure to bring your own clubs and balls. The new golf clubhouse, The Chateau, can be reserved for weddings and parties.

Mountain Golf Course

A panoramic green expanse, and breath-taking views of Lake Tahoe and Sierra Nevada mountains...what more can one ask for. Winner of the 2003 NGF Customer Loyalty Award, the special feature of this course is that it has no artificial landscaping. It is all natural, and a real challenge to play. The 18-hole course features par 3's averaging over 150 yards in length, and four par 4's that continue to challenge even the most proficient golfer. There is also an award-winning pro shop and the complex can be reserved for parties and weddings.
