Cyber Park Arsat Moulay Abdeslam

This beautiful 8-hectare park was originally a food-producing park created in the 18th century by Prince Moulay Abdeslam. During the time of the Protectorate, the French enhanced the park, and it's now a "cyber park" equipped with wifi hotspots. So don't hesitate to send an e-mail under sitting under a plam tree! You can also have a look at a Marrakech's interactive map or at some of the pedagogic information on the park and the city. A visit to the Cyber Park makes for an excellent family day out, and gives you an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Parc National de Toubkal

Two hours south of Marrakech, in the High Atlas Mountains, this 38,000-hectare national park was Morocco's first, designated in 1942. The high mountains landscapes are breathtaking. The highest peak of the mountain chain, the Toubkal mount, culminates here at 4,167 meters. It is the highest point in North Africa. The mountains host endemic vegetation, along with rare species such as the barbary sheep and several raptors. For assistance uncovering the beauty of the park, contact Kasbah du Toubkal.

Jardin Bio-Aromatique d'Ourika

The Vallée de l'Ourika is the setting of this one-hectare organic garden planted with aromatic and medicinal Moroccan plants, some of which are used to make essential oils. Visitors can attend workshops, and/or take guided or non-guided tours, lasting from two hours to two days (varying prices). Botanists, nature-lovers, those with green thumbs, and those interested in aromatherapy or eco-tourism will never want to leave!

Royal Tennis Club Marrakech

Marrakech Royal Tennis Club was created in 1926 and is still one of the best clubs in the country. It encompasses nine tennis courts along with a restaurant, a swimming pool, a cafeteria and grand views of the Atlas mountains. Playing rate is 100MAD/hour.

Royal Golf Club

The Royal Golf Club lies in the palm grove, 15 minutes from the center of Marrakech. This English-inspired golf course was built in 1923 by the Pasha of Marrakech. It features 18 holes (par 72, 6200 meters) and is landscaped with olive trees, eucalyptus, orange trees and palm trees, into which slide the fairways. Winston Churchill, during his journeys at the Hotel de la Mamounia, came here to practice. Green fee for 18 holes: 400MAD.

Golf d'Amelkis

Amelkis Golf is only few minutes by car from Marrakech's downtown and medina. This palm tree-adorned, 18-hole golf course (par 72, 6,657 m) was conceived by Cabell B. Robinson and constructed in 1995. The course is physically challenging and is therefore best suited to experienced golfers: it is very hilly and features many traps (lakes, moats, etc.).
