The marina provides boat slips that offer freshwater, electricity and telephone and cable hookups. Normandy Shores Golf Course

Normandy Shores Golf Course is an older, 18-hole public golf course designed by William S. Flynn and Howard Toomey and opened in 1938. The course is 6,402 yards, par 71 with a slope of 120 from the back tees and 5,527 yards, par 73 with a slope of 119 from the front tees. Although caddies are not available, walking the course is permitted at certain times, and golf carts are included in the greens fees. The facility rents clubs and does permit spiked shoes. The course offers reduced fees on weekdays, during the low season (May-October), for juniors and for twilight plays.

Miami Beach Golf Club

Formerly Bayshore, the Miami Beach Golf Club has undergone a comprehensive renovation under the direction of Arthur Hills. The club is adjacent to the most popular hotels on Miami Beach. In 2002, the city chose the architectural firm of Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest & Associates for a massive remodeling. No portion of the golf course was left untouched, including new tees, greens, recontoured fairways, cart paths, bunker construction, a new irrigation system, landscaping and lakes. The course offers some of the best golfing facilities and is a delight for the golfers. Presidential Country Club

Presidential has been redesigned by Tommy Fazio, the nephew of famed architect Tom Fazio. This is a tight golf course with a good layout and a good price point for the area. Presidential is convenient to the Fort Lauderdale airport and both Broward and Dade (Miami) Counties. The course has rolling fairways and contoured, well-bunkered greens that require shot accuracy. The fairways are fairly tight with either new homes or oak hammocks (the new homes are actually quite attractive). With four tee boxes to select from, this championship course is playable for all handicaps, with a number of forced carries if you play from the back. There is water in play on almost every hole.
