The Royal Oak

Overlooking the south golf course, the Royal Oak is one of three restaurants at the Silverado Resort. Massive beams, floor-to-ceiling picture windows and plush upholstered chairs create an elegantly relaxed ambiance. The tables allow ample legroom and private conversation. Dressy casual attire is appropriate and the service is sublime. Menu items are prepared using local produce, herbs, meats and poultry. Try the Mesquite-grilled Pork Tenderloin, Yakitori-style and the farm-raised Muscovy Duck Breast. The sinfully delicious desserts include a Creme Brulee Duet (praline and vanilla bean) and White Chocolate & Croissant Bread Pudding. There is a full bar and extensive local wine list.

ZuZu

The slogan here is "Great Friends, Great Food, Great Fun!" The tapas menu include traditional Mediterranean, Portuguese and Spanish recipes, recreated with Central and South American flavors. The decor is a melange of local and international art, and if you look up, the Mexican tin ceiling adds the perfect finishing touch. The dining experience is a true celebration of food, wine, and art set to vibrant Latin music. All ingredients are fresh, seasonal, organic, and locally grown. The wine list is eclectic and complements the tapas. ZuZu creates a special brand of tapas that are distinctly Californian in approach and execution.

Genova Delicatessen and Ravioli Factory is well known in Napa for the delicious Italian fare it offers. Though the restaurant has not much to show in terms of the decor, the tasty sandwiches, salamis, ravioli, salads and more along with the extensive wine list make up for the same. The deli is a family run business which does have an open air dining area, however it serves better as a take away joint. Mostly crowded this place will give you a wonderful taste of Italy.

Steltzner Vineyard

Steltzner Vineyards' commercial inception dates back to 1977, when the owner, Richard Steltzner established his own family line, with a chaste retention of 3000 cases in the famous Stags Leap District. Ever since, the vineyard has seen positive developments with a reception hall for visitors, a very Mediterranean laboratory, offices and event rooms. What more? The visitors can also enjoy a bird's eye-view of the green expanse atop the 3-story observation clock tower here. Coming to most guests' favorite, 1998 Sauvignon Blanc, tops the chart for sure. However, 2003 Merbt, Estate is also quite popular.

Bleaux Magnolia

Part of Carneros Inn, Farm comes across as a place you'd take someone to impress. The decor is plush with muted lighting and lounge chairs. The bar area is also innovatively lit and the LCD screen displays classic b/w movies, good range of wines and cocktails are available. Tuna carpaccio, butternut squash soup, braised veal cheeks and cheese and charcuterie platter are worth menu items. Guests can also ask to be seated in the heated outdoor area.

Offering earthy hues and wooden embellishments to go with the subtle lighting, the restaurant creates an ambience one may not forget.
