Le Beaucet

Auberge du Beaucet is located in the tiny village of Beaucet. There isn`t much here apart from a bakery and the restaurant. But the setting will take your breath away. The village is literally built into the rocks. On a warm night, sit outside on the terrace and enjoy great views over the valley. Well prepared food served in an intimate atmosphere.

La Bastide de Moustiers

This gastronomic restaurant is located in Moustiers Sainte Marie. The menu is created daily and offers typical Provencal receipes made with the freshest ingredients. The chef was trained by the famous Alain du Casse. We opted for the seven course tasting menu and were not disappointed. Arrive early so you can enjoy your apertif on the terrace. It`s a tranquil spot!

Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave

This relais and chateaux property is perched on top of a hill overlooking Mont Ventoux. It has a fabulous terrace and restaurant. The restuarant is known for it`s taditional Provencal dishes which are accompanied by wines from the region. After dinner play a game of boules or stroll through the village.

La Bastide de Gordes

This is one of the most luxurious places to eat and stay in the medieval hill top town of Gordes. The hotel is built into the side of a cliff and has outstanding views over the Luberon valley. Opt to eat in the lavish restaurant or outside on the terrace.

La Fourchette

This small restaurant located in the centre of town is one of Avignon`s best kept secrets. The staff are very friendly and the menu offers tasty treats such as `provencal daube`` (slow cooked beef stew), `caillettes (a large meatball type dish) and of course the legendary le pieds et le pĂ quets ( sheeps foot and stuffed stomach!)`.
