South-Africa 'Kruger National Park'

We visited Kruger Park many times during special Photo/Video Safari's and private Photo Shootings. Stayed in several hotels in and just outside Kruger Park. Most times in Januari - March. It is a dream for any videographer and photographer. Inside Krugerpark we visited several luxury hotels. High in costs, but all included and really worth it. Their drivers are allowed to go of road. With your own car you can only stay on the mainroads. The best in the park for us up to now is Leopard Hills (see photo) and Rhino Walking Safari Lodge (our clip on YouTube). Search Google for: ' YouTube ISIBINDI ' ) . But there are many cheaper ones all around the park and also many Bed and Breakfast places in Hazyview. If you like we are pleased to arrange all and accompagny you and make a perfect private videoclip and photoshoots during your visit! Many tourist use Swaziland for a short cut from Kruger Park to Kwazulu Natal and that is a pity.
Mbabane is the capitol city and a must for some days, a nice hotel with famous restaurant is Mountain Inn (On Photo is Staff member Thembi) nice nearby other lodge is Emafini. Also worth a visit are the Glass Factory, the traditional dancers, the Marula Factory for Swazi Secrets ( www.swazisecrets.com ). See our clip at YouTube, search for Swazi Secrets.

Swaziland Nisela Nature Reserve

Also just before leaving Swaziland at the south border book a house for some nights at Nisela Reptile centre (YouTube search: "Reptile Swaziland") Stunning birdspot place, reptile education centre and many small animals, except for some lions (a donkey as meal) and crocs in a save place. We had a great time studying (filming) small wildlife and so many birds. My wife even touched a snake the first time in her life!

Namibia

We travelled round in Namibia. Loved it. It is as if GOD created the earth yesterday! We visited hotels in the most natural locations. One of the most rememberal was Rockstock Ritz. The Meerkat is normaly wild. But the owner of this hotel had some as a housepet to detect snakes and scorpions in guestrooms! They were half tame! We let them out and loved them. On this photo you see Stompie (Afrikaans for Short Tail), see him and his friends and our videoclip with me photographing them at YouTube/Google search for : "Meerkat Stompie" When you go their ask with your coffee an Amarula drink. It is made of the fruit from the Marula Tree liked most by Eliphants. All kitchen people can sing for you the "Amarula Song". We made several clips of that in several hotels. Please take your lap-top and show them their peformance! Google or YouTube for the "Amarula Song" !

Who let Styompy out? We did 3 days and loved it !

Kenia Masai Mara

Lodges are very expensive. Much nicer and more spiritual: try to become friends with a Missionary. They love your interest. And the Masai they know showed us the elephants and posed with new camera's for articles in a Video Magazin about our trips and tests! We went to several missionary posts. They are so glad to help you for overnight stays, in comfortable rooms. Food? You buy a fresh chicken and the Massai kills it for you in the kitchen! In exchange for lodgment you always can help them with loads of things like internet knowledge. They even brought us with their car several times to the Masai Mara over very rocky roads. Fantastic! More wildlife and cattle here as in South Africa. And what so funny the lions run away when they see a Masai!

Hunting Komodo by Camera Boattrip Bali to Flores Indonesia

From Bali we went (2009) with Peramatours(.com) to Lombok, Sumbawa, Moyo, Flores and KOMODO. A fantastic experience, however it is not a luxury cruise, but we would'nt have missed this trip. Take your time (3-4 day trip) and enjoy. Need good weather though! But with some luck you also see the dangerous Komodo and also we saw many many dolphins and even above water flying fish. Highlight was coral fields snorkling and meetings with unexpected visits to people of small fishermen villages. So much fun we had with those kids! And the crew were as ever utmost friendly.

Juneau, Alaska

A luxury big cruise to Alaska bears and whales is nice (with 3000 people?) Better have your own small boat (we made trips in 1999 till 2001) with only one captain (also cook) + wife (sailor/ captain/ assistant/ canoe instructor) is much much better. From Juneau to Sitka (former Russia). If you see whales or killer whales he goes after them, a big cruise can't do. John even had underwater mics to hear them sing. And bears? When we saw one we went ashore with a little dinky. My wife even climbed a driving ice island! Oh and the helicopter flight was awesome we even walked on a gletcher! Delicious cooking. Fresh fish every day, Salmon so nice you never had before! To see impression of our trip see: http://www.vimeo.com/2180058 Like to book this? We can help you! Families/groups up to 5 persons.
