This San Francisco landmark features some of Fisherman's Wharf's best shopping and attractions. Ride the carousel or watch the sea lions. There are more than 25 one-of-a-kind gift stores that carry automobile, Hollywood, and rock 'n' roll memorabilia, as well as flags of the world, Russian dolls, collectible knives, hammocks, kites, and more. But that's not all. You will find more than 30 more stores, including the famous Na Hoku to shop for clothing, jewelry and toys. It is a great place to pick up high-end San Francisco souvenirs. Credit card acceptance varies by store. Pier 39 is a magnet for locals and tourists for many reasons, including their nearly year-round calendar of special attractions for the whole family like the Tulipmania tulip festival held in late February on both levels of pier 39 or the Holiday Tree Lighting in November.

A place EVERYBODY has to go!!! Enjoy the most fresh and best deal of seafood.. plenty of choice.. eat it like there's no tomorrow!!

I liked pretty much everything. The food was great. Every restaurant we tried was really good. I loved seeing ben and jerry's right there!

One of the greatest shopping, dinning, and recreational places to visit in the world. Like many other sites in San Fransisco you can spend the entire day just going from shop to shop. Perhaps the greatest Magic Shoppe is located here along with the long list of just as fun specialty shops numbering in the few hundred perhaps.

A fantastic place to eat and shop....or just admire the local sea lions. A very relaxing place to spend an afternoon...i visit pier 39 everytime i go to San Francisco.

You would think this place is a tourist trap but with a flavor of great foods and probably the best of San Francisco has to offer.

From Pier 39, you can see golden gate bridge, very beautiful view and lots of shopping and fine dinning around the area.

A nice eclectic collection of shops and people. A wonderful selection of restaurants from the Hard Rock Cafe to the little places that make any kind of crepe you can imagine.

San Francisco famous visitor's favorite place.

I love the fish and chips, and the clam chowder, and the smells of the ocean and the sea. I like to stand on the piers and look at the sea lions and fishes and everything.

Forest Gumps was really good, and a lot of fun watching the seals on the docks. A variety of shopping to be had here as well

Very touristy. Open up your wallets and be prepared to spend. Public bathrooms are a disaster and it is more of a circus than anything but it is part of the San Fransisco that people come to see.

I enjoyed going to pier 39 because I just liked being on the water, the sea lions basking in the sun, shopping, eating food and having fun.

I love the shops, the atmosphere, the fresh food, the people, the amusements in the area, the weather, and the overall feel of San Francisco itself :)

really cool place. lots of fresh air, and nice view of alcatraz. the food is amazing. love it. a lot of activities around. close to public transportation.

I really like the seafood there.I always eat a lot. And I like the sea lions(?). Don't forget there are always people show themselves.

I loved how alive Pier 39 was. There is so much to see and do there, Infact my Husband and I went there a few times. Once again would recommend it be a must to visit

This place was pretty cool. The sea loins were adorable, and they had some good food. The shops weren't too bad. Ripley's believe it or not museum was a rip off though. :P

FUN! FUN! FUN! Lots of shopping and excitement. Totally worth visiting
