Skukuza

Situated on the southern banks of the Sabie river Skukuza is the largest restcamp and administrative headquarters of the Kruger National Park. This is also the most popular camp in the park. Skukuza has over 80 camping sites, 178 chalets, 20 luxury bungalows, 15 guest cottages, 20 Safari tents and a few fully furnished guest houses. Even though there is so much accommodation available the camp is usually fully booked for months in advance and so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Skukuza also has an domestic airport with regular flights to O.R.Thambo International in Johannesburg, making it the easiest camp to reach from the outside world. The camp has all the amenities needed for a great time in Kruger. There are great 2 restaurants, a curio shop, fuel, a post office, photo development outlet and even an Internet Café. This is what I would call a city inside this national park and is a must see.
