Toledo

Toledo is located on the southern stretch of Madrid and is the capital city of the Toledo province. Also a historic town, the city was originally formed with settlements of Christians, Arabs and Jews living together. The city offers its visitors a lot in terms of sight-seeing attractions. Some of the churches, synagogues and forts are truly magnificent. Toledo was also declared as a World Heritage Site in the late 1980s.

One of Spain’s oldest and most beautiful cities, Toledo served as the Spanish capital until 1561.
