Tulou, or Earth Houses, being listed under UNESCO World Heritage in 2008 is a must visit place for those who are interested in architectures! The most superb civilian's architectures ever found! It is suitable to visit all year round! Preferably when there's any Chinese celebration like Chinese New Year, then you can see thier cultures!
Zhang Zhou, an hour away from Xiamen of Fujian is the best base for all of you before you continue your tour to these buildings because they are located deep in the mountain, in order to go there, it required few hours car journey.
