Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Denver - A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director will be there this evening. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Days 2-3

Denver / Vail / Arches National Park / Moab - Climbing over Independence Pass Scenic Drive, cross the Continental Divide and travel through areas that epitomize the grandeur of classic mountain scenery. Arrive at fashionable Vail, with time to wander the quaint pedestrian alleys lined with chalets, boutiques and galleries. As you continue westward and enter the state of Utah, the setting changes to stunning red rock landscape. Visit Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural andstone arches, and enjoy enchanting vistas. Later, arrive in the nearby town of Moab where you have the option of a BBQ dinner followed by a thrilling jetboat ride on a scenic stretch of the Colorado River. (FB)

Day 3

DAY 3 MOAB / MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK / KAYENTA - Today your Tour Director reveals a hidden treasure. Journey deep into the Native American lands. Visit the ruins of Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour some of the dwellings that were built on top of the plateau and view the imposing cliff dwellings built right into the canyon walls. There is time to visit the museum depicting the story of the Ancestral Pueblo people who once lived and thrived on this 8,000-foot plateau and to get an insight into their daily lives. Then, on to Kayenta, in the heart of the Navajo Reservation. (FB,D)

Days 4-6

DAY 5 GRAND CANYON / LAS VEGAS - Early risers won’t want to miss sunrise over the canyon before breakfast! Optional flightseeing tours by helicopter and fixedwing aircraft are available for the experi- ence of a lifetime. Heading west toward Nevada, drive along parts of famous Route 66. Stop at two iconic posts, Seligman and Kingman, delightful towns which retain the flavor of the old road. Later, cross the Colorado River, skirt the riverside city of Laughlin and head for Las Vegas for a two-night stay in this mecca of entertainment, gambling and jet set glamour. Bid farewell to your Tour Director and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to discover all this incredible city has to offer! (FB)

Day 6

DAY 6 LAS VEGAS AT LEISURE - Spend a full day on your own and enjoy the many activities available. Perhaps play a round of golf, relax by the pool, go shopping at the exclusive Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace, or try your luck with the “one-armed bandit” or another game of chance. This evening perhaps attend a show or stroll along the fabled Strip and see pirates sinking a galleon at the Treasure Island, water fountains dancing a musical ballet at the Bellagio and a spectacular light show changing the color of the “Lake of Dreams” at the Wynn hotel. Days 7-10

Kayenta / Monument Valley / Grand Canyon National Park - Drive to Monument Valley, made famous when director John Ford began filming movies here. Set out with a local guide in special vehicles to visit some movie sites used as backdrops for western films and marvel at the dramatic buttes and mesas. Then travel through the scenic Painted Desert and stop at the Historic Cameron Trading Post, a showplace of fine Native American and Southwestern Art. Arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Stop at Desert View Lookout for spectacular views before arriving at Grand Canyon Village where you overnight. At sunset, join your Tour Director at the Canyon’s rim to watch as the sun paints the Canyon walls in warm yellows, golds and reds. Tonight, savor a Highlight Dinner inside this wonder of Mother Nature. (FB,HD)

“Departure day” is considered the date Brendan services begin.
If the cancellation fees are less than the required deposit, the entire deposit amount applies as the cancellation fee. Cancellation charges apply to extra nights prior to and after the tour, cruise or safari. Flight changes after deposit has been received or flight cancellations after tickets are issued incur airline revision/cancellation fees. Air-inclusive tours, cruises or safaris cancelled after receipt of tickets will be processed after return of tickets to Brendan. Lost ticket replacement can take up to 1 year and processing fees will be assessed.
NOTE: Additional penalties may apply from certain hotels and service providers.
Additional fees will apply for any air tickets already issued.

If Brendan cancels a tour, cruise or safari, we will re-book passengers on the same tour, cruise or safari with a different departure date or a similar tour. All re-bookings are subject to availability. If that tour, cruise or safari is unacceptable, Brendan will refund all monies paid to Brendan by your travel agent; there is no additional liability. Brendan cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Brendan.

NON-REFUNDABLE AIR TICKETS
Many of our departures are not guaranteed. If you are purchasing a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that your travel agent explains the difficulties associated with non-refundable airfares. Brendan cannot be held responsible for any change/cancellation penalties associated with these non-refundable airfares.

REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Please note that employees of any domestic and/or overseas supplier are not authorized by Brendan to indicate or make refunds without respect to Brendan's stated Terms and Conditions.
