Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Honolulu - Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! You will be greeted with a traditional fresh flower lei and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to welcome you. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Days 2-3

Oahu Sightseeing and at Leisure - Meet with your fellow travelers and Tour Director, then set out to see the natural wonders of Oahu. Discover tropical rainforests, worldfamous surfing beaches, picturesque villages and pineapple fields. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Waikiki. (FB)

Day 3

DAY 3 HONOLULU AT LEISURE - A full day free. Shopping is a favorite pastime at Waikiki’s International Market Place. Or for the more adventurous, try an outrigger canoe ride or take a surfing lesson from one of Waikiki’s beach boys! (FB)

Day 5

DAY 5 OAHU / HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK / KONA - Fly to Hilo and journey to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, visit the Jaggar Museum. Learn about the fiery formation of the islands and walk through an actual lava tube. Your Tour Director shares a hidden treasure before continuing on to visit a coffee plantation. See how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed, and sip a freshly brewed cup. Then, on to your oceanfront hotel on the stunning Kona Coast. (FB,HL,D)

Day 6

DAY 6 KONA AT LEISURE - A full day of leisure to do as you please. Perhaps visit a historic heiau, or Hawaiian temple of worship, take a snorkeling excursion or ride aboard a submarine to view the colorful reef sealife. (FB)

Days 7-10

Pearl Harbor & Honolulu Sightseeing - Head to Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial. Relive the moment in history at this tribute to the military personnel who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Next is Punchbowl National Cemetery and downtown Honolulu where you see the State Capitol, King Kamehameha Statue and the beautiful Iolani Palace, residence of Hawaii’s royalty. Also included is a visit to a jewelry workshop where you’ll learn how Hawaii’s rare and precious corals are harvested, graded and crafted into unique island designs. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure before getting together for a Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant. (FB,HD)

Day 8

DAY 8 to DAY 9 MAUI AT LEISURE - Two fabulous days at leisure. Relax on the beach or by the pool, shop for souvenirs, enjoy a game of golf, or explore the island further. A highlight of your time on Maui is the time-honored Hawaiian feast – the traditional luau. Enjoy tropical cocktails and delicious island specialties, then learn about Hawaiian culture and traditions during a colorful song and dance review. (FB daily, HD-day 8 or 9)

Day 9

DAY 10 MAUI / KAUAI - Fly to Kauai, the “Garden Isle.” Kauai is so nicknamed because of its lush tropical landscape, which you may recognize as the location for some of Hollywood’s classics such as South Pacific and the Jurassic Park trilogy. Cruise up the Wailua River and learn of its importance to Hawaiian culture. Take a short nature walk through the rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto, where you will be entertained with songs and legends, and perhaps learn the hula. A riverside Highlight Lunch completes the tour. (FB,HL)

Day 10

DAY 11 to DAY 12 KAUAI AT LEISURE - Relax with two peaceful days on Kauai. Enjoy the resort’s 25 lushly landscaped acres along Kauai’s longest beach, or explore on your own. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the spectacular Waimea Canyon, aptly nicknamed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” or explore the dramatic Na Pali Coast by helicopter or by boat. Your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your days. On your last evening, gather for a Farewell Dinner and toast to a memorable Hawaiian vacation! (FB daily, FD-day 12)

Days 11-15

“Departure day” is considered the date Brendan services begin.
If the cancellation fees are less than the required deposit, the entire deposit amount applies as the cancellation fee. Cancellation charges apply to extra nights prior to and after the tour, cruise or safari. Flight changes after deposit has been received or flight cancellations after tickets are issued incur airline revision/cancellation fees. Air-inclusive tours, cruises or safaris cancelled after receipt of tickets will be processed after return of tickets to Brendan. Lost ticket replacement can take up to 1 year and processing fees will be assessed.
NOTE: Additional penalties may apply from certain hotels and service providers.
Additional fees will apply for any air tickets already issued.

If Brendan cancels a tour, cruise or safari, we will re-book passengers on the same tour, cruise or safari with a different departure date or a similar tour. All re-bookings are subject to availability. If that tour, cruise or safari is unacceptable, Brendan will refund all monies paid to Brendan by your travel agent; there is no additional liability. Brendan cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Brendan.

NON-REFUNDABLE AIR TICKETS
Many of our departures are not guaranteed. If you are purchasing a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that your travel agent explains the difficulties associated with non-refundable airfares. Brendan cannot be held responsible for any change/cancellation penalties associated with these non-refundable airfares.

REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Please note that employees of any domestic and/or overseas supplier are not authorized by Brendan to indicate or make refunds without respect to Brendan's stated Terms and Conditions.
