Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Las Vegas - Welcome to Las Vegas! A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is available this afternoon to answer your questions. Gather at 6:00 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Days 2-3

Las Vegas / Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks - Travel to Zion National Park. See the massive and colorful rock formations of Zion Canyon ascending toward the blue sky. Next, on to Bryce Canyon National Park, where sandstone spires reflect vibrant hues from every vista point. Here, visit the amphitheatre of hoodoos, the odd-shaped stone monoliths. (FB,BD)

Day 3

DAY 3 BRYCE / SALT LAKE CITY - Today your Tour Director shares a hidden treasure. Off to Salt Lake City, headquarters of the Mormon religion. Here your orientation tour includes the Assembly Hall and the Tabernacle, home of the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. (FB)

Day 5

DAY 5 JACKSON / GRAND TETON & YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARKS - Journey through scenic Grand Teton National Park on the way to Yellowstone National Park, home to elk, bears and one of the few large herds of buffalo still in existence. (FB,D)

(When the South Entrance is closed due to weather conditions, the tour will travel west from Jackson via Idaho and enter Yellowstone National Park through the West Entrance.)

Day 6

DAY 6 YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - Enjoy a full day tour of Yellowstone. Highlights include geysers, hot springs and bubbling mud pools, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River with its waterfalls, Yellowstone Lake and the famous Old Faithful Geyser. (FB)

Days 7-10

Salt Lake City / Jackson - Travel north along the edge of the Great Salt Lake and across the Oregon Trail en route to Jackson. There is time to wander through this authentic old-western town before dinner. (FB,HD)

Day 8

DAY 8 BILLINGS / DEADWOOD / RAPID CITY - Travel to the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, site of Custer’s Last Stand. Your next stop is in Deadwood where you join a private tour by trolley and learn about legends of the Wild West. Then on to Rapid City. (FB)

Day 9

DAY 9 BLACK HILLS EXCURSION - Today, journey through the scenic Black Hills. Learn the story behind Mount Rushmore before viewing this incredible sculpture. Next, stop at the Crazy Horse Memorial honoring all Native Americans. This evening is at leisure. (FB)

Day 10

DAY 10 RAPID CITY / DENVER - Drive through Black Hills National Forest and the grassland prairies of South Dakota and Wyoming en route to Colorado’s capital city – Denver. (FB,BD)

Days 11-15

Jackson / Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks - Journey through scenic Grand Teton National Park on the way to Yellowstone National Park, home to elk, bears and one of the few large herds of buffalo still in existence. DAY 12 MOAB / MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK / KAYENTA - Today your Tour Director reveals another hidden treasure. Visit Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about the Native American tribes who lived in the canyons’ amazing cliff dwellings. Continue to Kayenta on the Navajo Indian Reservation. (FB,D)

Day 13

DAY 13 KAYENTA / MONUMENT VALLEY / GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK - Join a local guide and see the worldfamous monoliths of Monument Valley aboard open-air vehicles. Then continue to the magnificent Grand Canyon. There is plenty of time to explore this natural wonder. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner followed by a walk along the rim at sunset. (FB,FD)

Day 14

DAY 14 GRAND CANYON / DEPART LAS VEGAS - This morning is at leisure for optional flightseeing tours before you return to Las Vegas. Transfers are provided to Las Vegas International Airport and the tour hotel in Las Vegas for passengers extending their stay. Please do not schedule any flights before 6:30 p.m. (FB)

“Departure day” is considered the date Brendan services begin.
If the cancellation fees are less than the required deposit, the entire deposit amount applies as the cancellation fee. Cancellation charges apply to extra nights prior to and after the tour, cruise or safari. Flight changes after deposit has been received or flight cancellations after tickets are issued incur airline revision/cancellation fees. Air-inclusive tours, cruises or safaris cancelled after receipt of tickets will be processed after return of tickets to Brendan. Lost ticket replacement can take up to 1 year and processing fees will be assessed.
NOTE: Additional penalties may apply from certain hotels and service providers.
Additional fees will apply for any air tickets already issued.

If Brendan cancels a tour, cruise or safari, we will re-book passengers on the same tour, cruise or safari with a different departure date or a similar tour. All re-bookings are subject to availability. If that tour, cruise or safari is unacceptable, Brendan will refund all monies paid to Brendan by your travel agent; there is no additional liability. Brendan cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Brendan.

NON-REFUNDABLE AIR TICKETS
Many of our departures are not guaranteed. If you are purchasing a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that your travel agent explains the difficulties associated with non-refundable airfares. Brendan cannot be held responsible for any change/cancellation penalties associated with these non-refundable airfares.

REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Please note that employees of any domestic and/or overseas supplier are not authorized by Brendan to indicate or make refunds without respect to Brendan's stated Terms and Conditions.
