Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Las Vegas - Welcome to Las Vegas! A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is there this afternoon. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Days 2-3

Las Vegas / Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks - Today’s journey takes you through St. George before reaching spectacular Zion National Park for a visit to this lush green canyon. Next, on to Bryce Canyon National Park where sandstone spires reflect colorful hues from every vista point. Visit the amphitheater of “hoodoos,” oddly-shaped stone monoliths. (FB,BD)

Day 3

DAY 3 BRYCE / SALT LAKE CITY - Today your Tour Director will share a hidden treasure. Journey north to Salt Lake City, the capital of the state of Utah. An afternoon orientation tour takes you to historic Temple Square, where you view the Salt Lake Tabernacle, home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Assembly Hall and the Visitor Center. This evening is at leisure; perhaps join an optional dinner at the Lion House, with a visit to Beehive House – office and home of Brigham Young. (FB)

Days 4-6

Bryce / Salt Lake City - Today your Tour Director will share a hidden treasure. Journey north to Salt Lake City, the capital of the state of Utah. DAY 5 JACKSON / GRAND TETON & YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARKS - This morning there is time for an optional guided float trip down the most scenic stretch of the Snake River (seasonal). Then travel through striking Grand Teton National Park on the way to Yellowstone National Park. The beauty of this geothermal wonderland is an amazing sight to behold. Home to an astounding variety of elk and bears, Yellowstone also has one of the few large herds of buffalo still in existence. (FB,D)

(When the South Entrance is closed due to weather conditions, the tour will travel west from Jackson via Idaho and enter Yellowstone National Park through the West Entrance).

Day 6

DAY 6 YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK SIGHTSEEING - Enjoy a full day tour of Yellowstone National Park. See the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River with the pounding 407-foot Lower Falls, Hayden Valley, Midway Geyser Basin, mud pots, hot pools, fumaroles and geysers. Also see the blast of Old Faithful Geyser, which erupts about every hour and a quarter. (FB)

Days 7-10

Salt Lake City / Jackson - Travel along the Great Salt Lake and across the Oregon Trail, which was the only feasible route west in the 19th century, to Jackson, Wyoming. There is time to wander through this authentic old-western town, framed dramatically by the Grand Tetons to the north. Why not stop for a drink at the Million Dollar Cowboy Saloon? This evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant in the town square. (FB,HD)

Day 8

DAY 8 BILLINGS / DEADWOOD / RAPID CITY - Your first stop today is at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, site of the infamous Custer’s Last Stand. Here, in June 1876, Custer and his few men faced several thousand Native Americans in battle. Then head into South Dakota where you stop at Deadwood and explore the town aboard a narrated trolley. Then continue on to Rapid City. (FB)

Day 9

DAY 9 BLACK HILLS EXCURSION - The day begins with a journey through the Black Hills. Learn the story behind Mount Rushmore, followed by incredible views of this amazing sculpture depicting four great American Presidents. Next, stop at the Crazy Horse Memorial which honors all Native Americans. This evening is at leisure. (FB)

Day 10

DAY 10 RAPID CITY / DENVER - Drive through Black Hills National Forest where Ponderosa Pines, spruce and aspen forests provide a home for a variety of wildlife. Your journey continues through the grassland prairies of South Dakota and Wyoming as you make your way to Colorado’s capital city – Denver, also known as the “Mile High City.” This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers. Days 11-15

“Departure day” is considered the date Brendan services begin.
If the cancellation fees are less than the required deposit, the entire deposit amount applies as the cancellation fee. Cancellation charges apply to extra nights prior to and after the tour, cruise or safari. Flight changes after deposit has been received or flight cancellations after tickets are issued incur airline revision/cancellation fees. Air-inclusive tours, cruises or safaris cancelled after receipt of tickets will be processed after return of tickets to Brendan. Lost ticket replacement can take up to 1 year and processing fees will be assessed.
NOTE: Additional penalties may apply from certain hotels and service providers.
Additional fees will apply for any air tickets already issued.

If Brendan cancels a tour, cruise or safari, we will re-book passengers on the same tour, cruise or safari with a different departure date or a similar tour. All re-bookings are subject to availability. If that tour, cruise or safari is unacceptable, Brendan will refund all monies paid to Brendan by your travel agent; there is no additional liability. Brendan cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements not made through Brendan.

NON-REFUNDABLE AIR TICKETS
Many of our departures are not guaranteed. If you are purchasing a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that your travel agent explains the difficulties associated with non-refundable airfares. Brendan cannot be held responsible for any change/cancellation penalties associated with these non-refundable airfares.

REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Please note that employees of any domestic and/or overseas supplier are not authorized by Brendan to indicate or make refunds without respect to Brendan's stated Terms and Conditions.
