Typically smaller group size, 10-15 or less. Custom, tailor-made tours are available for groups of 15+ traveling together.

Hotel type

Hotels range from "tourist class" to "moderate deluxe," and are comfortable while maintaining a budget. Options to upgrade are affordable and available.

What's included

Basic city tours included. Airfare, transfers, accomodations are usually included as well. Airport taxes & fees, and gratuties are extra, as are optional daytrips/excursions to select locations.

Free time

A fair amount of free time is available. Seasoned travelers can opt out of many excursions and escorted tours. Very helpful for the more independent tourist.

Booking Policy

Gate 1 suggests booking as far in advance as possible to ensure the best air and hotel availability. All reservations made within 30 days of departure (7 days or less for Caribbean) will be charged a $50.00 late booking fee and immediate full payment is required in the form of a certified check, money order, or credit card, and must be submitted within 24 hours of reservation.

We cannot accept a reservation if the desired departure date is within 14 days, except to the Bahamas & Caribbean.

Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.

Up to 31 days prior to departure: $100 p.p.
30 to 8 days prior to departure: $100 p.p. plus 1 night
7 days or less prior to departure: 100%

Reservations without Sea or River Cruise:
Up to 46 days prior to departure: $100 p.p.
45 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of cost
30 to 2 days prior to departure: 90% of cost
1 day or less prior to departure: 100% of cost

Reservations with River Cruise or Greek Island Cruise:
Up to 91 days prior to departure: $200 p.p.
90 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of cost
30 to 2 days prior to departure: 90% of cost
1 day or less prior to departure: 100% of cost

Reservations with Sea Cruise:
Up to 121 days prior to departure: $200 p.p.
120 to 91 days prior to departure: $300 p.p.
90 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of cost
30 to 2 days prior to departure: 90% of cost
1 day or less prior to departure: 100% of cost

Reservations with Galapagos Islands:
Up to 121 days prior to departure: $400 p.p.
120 to 61 days prior to departure: 35% of cost
60 to 2 days prior to departure: 90% of cost

Reservations with Passion Play 2010:
Up to 181 days prior to departure: $900 p.p.
180 to 121 days prior to departure: 50% of cost
