Trip was a great experience to see so much of Colorado & its beautiful scenery. One of the train rides seem to be a little too long & uncomfortable but the scenery made it manageable.
Tour Director excellent - made us feel like friends.
Excellent trip for old train buffs.
The trip was well planned and Accommodations were great. I appreciated the guarantee single if a roommate couldn't be found.
My only problem was with one restaurant ' menu that had only beef'. I prefer not to eat red Meat.
Great experience
The trip was great. We enjoyed all aspects of it. We have always enjoyed traveling with Mayflower.

Have disposible shoes for rafting trip. Also warn travelers about altitude. We enjoyed our trip and will cherish the memories forever. Our tour guide and driver were wonderful. I would love to be able to take another tour with them in the future.
This was our first bus tour and we enjoyed it very much. The tour director was very organized and knowledgeable and made the trip a real pleasure to be on. The tour went to a number of national park canyons that were amazing. And the train rides to the old mining towns were a trip back to the past. The scenery was absolutely incredible and the trip very relaxing. We made a lot of new friends and had a very positive experience with this trip.
Overall, the trip was great. I especially like the Dead Horse State Park, fantastic view. The Arches National Park was beyond anything I had imagined. The float trip on the Colorada was the least, simply because it was too calm.
Of the two train trips, I thought the Cumbres & Toltec was by far the better of the two. And the missions of Sante Fe was beautiful and spiritual. The best part of this trip to me was Mesa Verde!!! Absolutely amazing people. We had a very intelligent guide. He loved the history of these peolpe and that came across in his information, and I learned alot and was impressed with the beauty of the cliff homes. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
This trip was an awesome experience- my first guided tour. I was a last minute sign up- spur of the moment decision and it was great. The bus driver and tour guide were both so gregarious and truly enjoy their work. The made the trip especially enjoyable. We had only one person who complained about anything everyone else went with the flow and had a blast. Thank you for a great experience. The cost was extremely reasonable and the service , rooms and meals were just lovely.
Great tour. Wish the accommodations were closer to urban areas so could walk around and shop, thinking of the resort in New Hampshire. Have already booked another tour with Mayflower.
I enjoyed this trip very much. There was a bit too much emphasis on shopping stops for my taste, but overall the itinerary was good.
Enjoyed the overall experience, {atrocoa pir tpir dorectdpr did an excellent job. Went in a day early to see more of Charleston, but the hotel was not in the historic district and not convenient to see some of the sights other than what was offered on the tour.

It was a great tour, everything I expected. Went into Charleston a day early to see more than what was provided on the tour and was dissapointed that the hotel was far from the historic district.

very well planned - moderate to easy itenary - hotels / food outstanding - tour director looked after us all the way to the airport for departure. hope we get as good a director on your Scandinavia by Train this summer.
A little too much "free time." Would like to have had more structured tour with a broader itinerary. Also, more breakfasts should have been included and the restaurant used for our farewell dinner in Savannah should be replaced. We were rushed and treated like "cattle."
The Jeckyll Island part of the tour was the best part. Beautiful accommodations, first-class hotel and treatment by hotel personnel.
We had never been on a "bus tour" - so I was a bit skeptical at first ------ However, it was a WONDERFUL experience.....and we had probably the BEST TOUR GUIDE - Sally from Phoenix - exceptionally knowledgeable - and an excellent BUS DRIVER from Denver . Most of our meals, and most of our accommodations were good. We especially enjoyed the FLOAT TRIP and the day at the Grand Tetons.
The whole trip was wonderful. Patricia was an excellent tour guide!!!!
We really enjoyed this trip. It was a very friendly, happy group of people. We liked the tour director, Sally Bell, and enjoyed her knowledge and conversation. The bus driver, Del, was also great to talk to and get recommendatios for dinner in Jackson. Would highly recommend the trip to anyone. Loved Crazy Horse! Amazing!!!

The food at the Western Night was not good. The show was very good. Would have liked better accommodations in Yellowstone. Like Old Faithful Inn. The trip is being offered to a group we belong to and I have recommended it.
THE ENTIRE TRIP WAS EXCELLANT. OUR TOUR GUIDE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP US. WE ARE PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP IN 2011 AND WE HOPE TO HAVE HER AGAIN.
We enjoyed seeing the fall colors and the region. We had never been there before. The hotels and staff were great.
The Alamo was the highlight of the trip for us. The LBJ Library was next, except more time would have been appreciated. There was more walking in San Antonio than expected. Our seating for the parade on the riverwalk was not what the itinerary specified - therefore by the time the floats arrived at our location it was almost too dark to really see them very well.

Churchill Food and accomodations were great.
Winnepeg food and accomodations were just fair.
I enjoyed the group we were with. Our guide was fabulous.
It was really great - we would have like more time in Victoria but realize there is a lot to fit in.
overall, it was a fantastic trip, tour guides and bus driver were so accomidating, friendly and cheerful. This was not my first tour with Mayflower and certainly not my last...
This trip should not have gone the first week of October. Too early to see polar bears. Churchill lodge was awesome and food was superb. Hospitality at its best. Hotel in Winnegeg was not good. Food there was bad too. Tour guide in Churchill was awesome.
Outstanding.
Outstanding.
The whole trip was very enjoyable! We had a great time & loved our tour director.
I loved my trip to seattle and vancouver and victoria. I was not happy with my room mate. I would have enjoyed my trip even more if I was not with her. I think single people should not be assessed so much. A hotel room is going to cost the same if one person is in it or two. They could rent more rooms if there were only one person in a room. the hotels are actually loosing money and the tour companies would have more travelers if we didn't have to pay so much more.
We loved the trip. The tour guide in Winnipeg was inexperienced but managed to learn during our trip. You advertised an experienced tour guide. I believe for an expensive trip like this, perfection is the key. The guide in Churchill was great. The food and accommodations were wonderful. This trip is what I classify as a top notch adventure. We did not see as many bears as we hoped to because it was very early in the season. Guests should know that the Polar Rover is very bumpy. We both enjoyed the trip very much and would recommend this trip .
Good variety of places seen. Loved Yosemite and the sequoia trees!
This was my second time for this tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it more this time as Sally Bell was exceptional as a tour guide--so knowledgeable--and Clay (our step-on guide) also is exceptional. Going to Bandalier was wonderful since we had to go through LosAlamo a sister lab to Fermilab where I once worked--Sally's knowledge about the geology of the area was wonderful--I learned a lot. This was a super tour!
Take clothes that layer comfortably. Early mornings to see the ascension of the balloons is quite cool almost cold. There is nothing the Best Western Grande left undone for the long distant traveler. Regardless of what you order to eat at a sit down restaurant or join others in a long line for a burrito the tab inc. tax is $10.00. BRING LOTS OF $. Had a wonderful time . Director was knowledgeable & did a super job keeping the herd happy.
It was breathtaking. Our guide was so knowledgeable. The Bandolier Mountains were beautiful. I loved shopping in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. I wish I could have gone on a hot air balloon ride.
Enjoyed the experience of seeing the Balloons very much and would go again. Other aspects of the trip were not so good. Hotel was just okay. Included meals were not good.

Value-added traveling at affordable prices is Mayflower's specialty. Their pricing niche is in the mid range price category.
Most passengers are 50+, especially catering to retired couples.
Can vary dramatically, depending on tour. Groups can be as small as 1-10 people and as large as 55+. Contact an agent for details about a specific tour.
Each Mayflower Tour has a professional Tour Director on board. Mayflower calls them "Tour Managers" and they serve a wider variety of functions than a traditional tour guide,
First Class, emphasis placed on central location.
All Mayflower Tours include the services of a professional Tour Manager. A variable amount of meals are also offered (often breakfast and dinner, with customers responsible for lunch.) Round trip airport transfers are always included. Additionally, you earn a varying amount of Mayflower money (virtual currency towards future tours) with each booked tour.
Tours are usually designed to allow additional time for passengers to enjoy the destination on their own. If desired, tour directors will provide restaurant, attraction, shopping, transportation and general suggestions for where to go if you don't want to explore on your own.
