Day 2

Start the day with a private gathering with your fellow travelers and Tour Director and learn about the Hawaiian Islands and your vacation. Next, explore Oahu’s natural bounty, from lush emerald green rainforests to crystal clear, turquoise bays fringed by golden sand beaches, from pineapple fields to sweeping panoramic island vistas. Back in Waikiki, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. (Full breakfast)

Day 3

A full day at leisure to pursue your own interests. Relax on the beach, by the hotel swimming pool, or explore further. Popular activities include an optional excursion to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai or perhaps some early souvenir shopping at Waikiki’s International Market Place. With over 130 carts, shops and artisan stands, this openair setting, in the heart of Waikiki, remains a must-see-and-do for that special gift or souvenir. Your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your day! (Full breakfast)

Day 4

This morning, journey to Pearl Harbor to visit the USS Arizona Memorial and honor those still entombed on board the ship, killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Then continue to the National Memorial Cemetery in Punchbowl Crater and then travel to Honolulu’s downtown to view Hawaii’s imposing State Capitol and beautiful Iolani Palace, the only offi cial residence of royalty on American soil. You’ll also learn how the precious corals of the Hawaiian Islands are crafted and transformed into beautiful adornments at a local coral jewelry workshop. This evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner at a popular local restaurant. (Full breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 5

Fly to Hilo on the island of Hawaii, and travel to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Mauna Loa, the most massive volcano on earth, and Kilauea, the world’s most active volcano producing rivers of fiery lava. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, visit the Jaggar Museum and learn of the explosive beginnings of the Hawaiian Islands millenniums past, and walk through an actual lava tube. Your Tour Director will reveal a Hidden Treasure before continuing on through macadamia nut orchards and Kona’s famous coffee farms. Stop at a local coffee plantation and see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed. Sip a freshly brewed cup and experience the rich aroma and flavorful taste that makes Kona coffee so highly valued. Then travel to your oceanfront hotel, superbly situated on the stunning Kona Coast. (Full breakfast / Highlight lunch / Dinner)

Day 6

Spend the entire day doing whatever interests you most. Perhaps take an optional excursion to a historic heiau, or Hawaiian temple of worship. Fun seekers may choose from a host of options, including boat excursions, snorkeling adventures, or an exciting ride aboard a submarine, cruising slowly through the colorful coral gardens and giving you the opportunity to experience a snorkeler’s-eye view of the marine life without getting wet! This evening, dinner and cocktail cruises are
available to experience Kona’s breathtaking sunset. (Full breakfast)

Day 7

Fly to Maui and stop at the old whaling town of Lahaina. Next, enjoy a visit to a local organic farm. Meet your host and enjoy a unique experience. A fascinating blend of education, superb local ingredient sampling and great cooking, this visit puts you at the forefront of the organic experience. From the planting and nurturing of the crops, to the presentation on the table, you’ll learn about ecologically sound and biodynamic farming practices. Enjoy a delightful lunch of fresh local produce
before heading to your oceanfront hotel on the stunning Kaanapali Beach. (Full breakfast / Be My Guest lunch)

Day 8

Two fabulous days at leisure on Maui to do as you please. A three-mile long white sand beach, the adjacent Kaanapali Golf Course, tennis courts, Lahaina’s art galleries and shops… all vie for your attention. Other popular options include a helicopter flightseeing tour to the island of Molokai, whale watching (seasonal) and snorkeling cruises. For the hardy sightseer, the excursion to Hana brings you to places of untouched natural beauty while a sunrise tour to the summit of Mount Haleakala takes you on the footsteps of the ancient Hawaiian kahuna who came here to worship their gods. On one of your evenings in Maui, meet your fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner at the time-honored feast - the Hawaiian luau. Enjoy tropical cocktails and delicious traditional island specialties, then learn about Hawaiian culture and traditions during a colorful song and dance review.
