    Day 1: Thu. HONOLULU.

    Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at Honolulu International Airport you will be greeted with a fresh flower lei and transferred to your hotel in Waikiki. Your Tour Director will be on hand to assist with check-in.

    Day 2: Fri. HONOLULU.

    Enjoy a full day at leisure. Your Tour Director will have suggestions, including activities near world-famous Waikiki Beach or a full-day optional outing to the Polynesian Cultural Center on the island’s north shore, where you’ll enjoy a dinner buffet and the colorful Horizons stage show.

    Day 3: Sat. HONOLULU.

    This morning, your sightseeing excursion features the sunken USS ARIZONA and its impressive memorial to the men still entombed there, Punchbowl National Cemetery, and Honolulu Lookout. Other sights include bustling Chinatown, 'Iolani Palace, and the Kamehameha Statue. The afternoon is free for independent activities. Tonight, join the optional sunset dinner cruise along the shores of Waikiki.

    Day 4: Sun. HONOLULU.

    One last day to enjoy Waikiki, the world’s most famous beach. Your Tour Director has ideas to make your day memorable

    Day 5: Mon. HONOLULU–KAUAI.

    Morning transfer to Honolulu Airport for the flight to the "Garden Isle" of Kauai. Then, drive along the scenic southern shore via Poipu Beach to Waimea, once the Polynesian capital of Kauai and the site where Captain Cook landed on the islands in 1778. Sightseeing highlights include WAIMEA CANYON, known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," the lush and fertile Hanapepe Valley, and a photo stop at SPOUTING HORN, a dramatic blowhole on the ocean’s edge. Later, arrive at your oceanside hotel in Kapa'a.NOTE: Due to air schedules on inter-island flights between Honolulu and Kauai, the luau could be moved to Day 9 on the island of Hawaii.

    Day 6: Tue. KAUAI.

    Kauai has a lot to offer, and your Tour Director will suggest several optional outings for the duration of your stay, including a trip to Hanalei Bay, the filming location of many Hollywood movies, such as South Pacific and The Thornbirds. Other activities include helicopter flightseeing and snorkeling on the Na Pali coastline.

    Day 7

    Wed. KAUAI–HILO–KONA. An afternoon arrival in Kona. Transfer to your hotle on the sunny side of the "Big Island." Tonight, attend a LUAU feast, considered one of Hawaii's best. After dinner, sit back and watch a captivating international revue of dancers and musicians. (D)

    Day 8: Thu. KONA. HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK VISIT.

    Today tour HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK. See Kilauea Crater, rising 4,090 feet above a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire pits, lava tubes, and fern forests. The evening is free for independent exploration and activities.

    Day 9: Fri. KONA.

    Today you may choose to take in the breathtaking views of the Pacific while you relax on the decks of your resort’s oceanfront split-level swimming pool or at the private beach and saltwater swimming lagoon. For an unforgettable adventure, join the afternoon optional to the summit of Mauna Kea Crater (13,796 ft.) to view the sunset, then visit the Ellison Onizuka Visitor Center (9,200 ft.) to stargaze in the evening.

    Day 10: Sat. KONA–MAUI.

    This morning, fly to Maui, the “Valley Island.” On arrival, sightseeing begins with a visit to the 'IAO VALLEY, the “Yosemite of the Pacific,” to view the 'lao Needle. Then, through lush farm country and along the shoreline via Maalaea Boat Harbor to Lahaina, once a whaling center and capital of the Hawaiian monarchy. Free time to explore this colorful town.

    Day 11: Sun. MAUI

    . A full day at leisure to enjoy Maui’s splendid beaches or to relax by the pool at the hotel. There is a variety of optional outings, including the Road to Hana, one of the world’s most spectacular scenic drives with 54 bridges and many waterfalls. From January to mid-April, whale watching is offered.

    Day 12: Mon. MAUI. HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK VISIT.

    This morning is dedicated to HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, the volcano known to islanders as the “House of the Sun,” and its vast Haleakala Crater. The parkland is located in a setting of stunning natural beauty, ranging from a landscape of cinder cones to dense rainforest. Return to Kihei in the early afternoon with the balance of the day at leisure.

    Day 13: Tue. & Wed. MAUI.

    Remain at your Maui hotel, the Sheraton Maui, for the next two nights. Two full days at leisure, with plenty of activities to choose from. Optional sightseeing tours to many of Maui’s attractions are available, including a submarine ride over a coral reef, and a snorkeling trip to Molokini.

    Day 14: Tue. & Wed. MAUI.

    Remain at your Maui hotel, the Sheraton Maui, for the next two nights. Two full days at leisure, with plenty of activities to choose from. Optional sightseeing tours to many of Maui’s attractions are available, including a submarine ride over a coral reef, and a snorkeling trip to Molokini.

    (Wed.) Upon arrival you are greeted in the traditional Polynesian way—with a warm aloha and a lei of fresh flowers. Transfer to your hotel in Waikiki. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

    Day 2: Honolulu.

    (Thu.) Begin with a tour of PEARL HARBOR’S famous Battleship Row. Listen to a narration of the dramatic air attack of December 7, 1941, and visit the USS Arizona and the impressive MEMORIAL dedicated to the 1,102 men still entombed. You will also have an opportunity to visit the MUSEUM, an excellent way to learn about Pearl Harbor Day, the Japanese strategy and military craft, and the individuals involved in the attack. Then, on to Punchbowl National Cemetery and Honolulu Lookout. Other sightseeing includes Chinatown, the Hawaii State Capitol, royal `Iolani Palace, and the statue of Kamehameha the Great. Tonight, a wonderful evening of dining and entertainment awaits! (B,D)

    Day 3: Honolulu.

    (Fri.) Today is all about independence. You’re free to relax, swim, enjoy water sports, or laze on the beach. Take the optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center for authentic island arts, crafts, history, music, a dinner buffet, and a spectacular Polynesian show with more than 100 performers. This evening there’s an optional sunset cruise with dinner, Hawaiian cocktails, and splendid views of the glittering Waikiki coastline and Diamond Head. Your Globus Host will have recommendations for the best places to shop and dine. (B)

    Day 4: Honolulu (Embarkation)–Overnight Cruising to Maui.

    (Sat.) Your day is free before boarding your cruise ship, the Pride of America. Bid farewell to your Local Host. Once on board, there’s time to explore your home for the next seven nights. During your cruise adventure you will have the freedom to choose from the many amenities on board. Anchors aweigh! Ship departs at 8 pm. (B,D)

    Day 5: Maui.

    (Sun.) Good morning and welcome to Maui. The Valley Isle has been voted the best island in the world. This tropical paradise has it all: hundreds of spectacular beaches, cascading waterfalls, flourishing jungles bursting with color and birdsong, dramatic volcanic craters, and charming Hawaiian towns. You’ll agree that there’s nothing on earth quite like it. The next two days are free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Join one of the many excursions available, including a scenic journey through upcountry Maui to the top of the world’s largest dormant volcano, Haleakala, or a visit to The Maui Tropical Plantation and `Iao Valley. Arrive in Maui at 8 am and overnight in Maui. (B,L,D)

    Day 6: Maui–Cruising to the Big Island.

    (Mon.) Another day in paradise offers you the flexibility to enjoy one of the many beaches that surround Maui. For the early risers, consider an excursion to view Haleakala Crater at sunrise. This adventure takes you to the top of the Haleakala volcano, the “House of the Rising Sun,” rising more than 10,000 feet above sea level. Marvel at the Crater’s eerie, lunar-like landscape of cinder cones and ancient lava formations. The view is absolutely amazing. Depart for the Big Island at 2 pm. (B,L,D)

    Day 7: Hilo–Overnight Cruising to Kona.

    (Tue.) Larger than Hawaii’s other main islands combined, the “Big Island” of Hawaii is spectacularly diverse in both landscapes and activities. Pristine beaches, curious lava formations, the earth’s tallest sea mountain, and the world’s most continuously active volcano all make this island a completely unique adventure. The entire day is open to independent activities. You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of shore excursions, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Rainbow Falls. Experience the 80-foot falls that cascade into a circular pool in the Wailuku River—as they hit the water below, rainbows often appear in the mist. Then, experience the fascinating drive along the 11-mile Crater Rim to enjoy a unique view of this volcanic landscape. Arrive in Hilo at 8 am and depart for Kona at 6 pm. (B,L,D)

    Day 8: Kona–Overnight Cruising to Kauai.

    (Wed.) A morning arrival in Kona. Choose a helicopter ride for a bird’s-eye view of Kilauea Volcano’s active areas, ranging from surface flows to skylights to bubbling lava. After a brief return to Hilo’s airport, take to the skies again for an exploration of Hawaii’s lush rainforest and Hamakua coastline. For those who prefer to stay a little more grounded, discover the historic city of Kona along Hawaii’s beautiful sun-drenched Gold Coast. Your route will take you past ancient temples, fields of coffee and macadamia nuts, and breathtaking coastal scenery. Arrive in Kona at 7 am and depart for Kauai at 6 pm. (B,L,D)

    Day 9: Kauai.

    (Thu.) The Garden Isle of Kauai has a lush, rural feel and a laid-back lifestyle all its own. After all, it is Hawaii’s oldest island and, as first-born, has a legacy of paradise to uphold. A trip around Kauai is a feast of tropical forest, cascading waterfalls, golden sand beaches, swaying palms, majestic mountains, and almost daily rainbows. A full day of activity awaits your participation. You may choose an excursion to enjoy the dramatic natural attraction of 2,857-foot-deep Waimea Canyon and a ride up the Wailua River to the famed Fern Grotto. Arrive at 8 am and overnight in Kauai.     Day 10: Kauai–Overnight Cruising to Honolulu.

    (Fri.) Today is the perfect day to relax and enjoy the sandy beaches of Kauai or to shop for souvenirs before departing for Honolulu at Noon. (B,L,D)

    Day 11: Honolulu (Disembarkation).

    Day 5: Kona.

    (Mon.) This morning is free for independent activities. Find a special place to relax poolside and enjoy the warm tropical sun and balmy breezes, or join the optional helicopter flightseeing excursion. Dinner tonight is a traditional LUAU feast with captivating Polynesian musicians and dancers. (B,D)

    Day 6: Kona–Kauai.

    (Tue.) Morning flight to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai, whose lush landscapes featuring orchids, hibiscus, and plumeria are often used as a setting for Hollywood films depicting tropical paradise. View pretty `Opaeka`a Falls on the Wailua River before proceeding to Princeville for lunch overlooking Bali Hai, from the movie South Pacific. Afterward, continue south to sunny Poipu Beach and your resort. (B,L)

    Day 7: Kauai.

    (Wed.) Spend the day as you please! Take in refreshing ocean breezes from the beautiful white sand beaches, immersing yourself in the heart of the island’s beauty. No activities have been scheduled today to give you time to relax and enjoy your oceanfront resort. Optional tours include helicopter flightseeing and snorkeling. (B,D)Note: If you have scheduled independent activities for this evening, you can opt to have your included dinner at your leisure on Day 6.

    Day 8: Kauai.

    (Thu.) Start the day with a drive to Waimea, once the Polynesian capital of Kauai and the site where Captain Cook landed in the islands in 1778. Sightseeing highlights include WAIMEA CANYON, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” and Hanapepe Valley. A stop at the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii, KAUAI COFFEE COMPANY, includes time at the visitor center where you can watch videos and learn all about coffee production and the history of the Kauai Coffee Company. Spend your last afternoon on Kauai relaxing at the resort, exploring further, or indulging yourself in some last-minute souvenir shopping. With the afternoon free, your Tour Director will suggest an optional horseback ride on the trails and along the sandy beaches. (B,D)

    Day 9: Kauai–Maui.

    (Fri.) A short, scenic flight takes you to the “Valley Island” of Maui. Drive to the lush `IAO VALLEY to see the `Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Visit LAHAINA, then continue on to Ka`anapali, your home for the next three nights. Balance of the day at leisure. (B,D)

    Day 10: Maui.

    (Sat.) Activities abound and your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan your day. A full free day to swim and sunbathe at the beach or hotel pool. Consider our optional sunset cruise along Maui’s scenic Ka'anapali coastline. Another choice is the “Road to Hana,” one of the world’s most impressive drives with 54 bridges and numerous waterfalls. From mid-December to mid-April, a humpback whale-watching cruise is available. (B)

    Day 11: Maui.

    (Sun.) The morning is dedicated to HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, site of the huge volcanic Haleakala Crater, known as the “House of the Sun.” In 1980, this native ecosystem of cinder cones and dense rainforest was designated an International Biosphere Reserve. There’s plenty of time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your hotel’s facilities, or to take the optional submarine ride over a coral reef. This evening, your Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner. Wonderful conversation and cuisine make the perfect finale to a memorable Hawaiian vacation! (B,D)

    Day 12: Maui.

    (Mon.) Continue your stay on Maui with plenty of activities. “Maui no ka oi” (“Maui is the best”) is what the locals say, and it’s easy to see why this Hawaiian island is so popular. Besides the beautiful landscapes and perfect weather, Maui also boasts some premier attractions. If you ever get tired of lying on one of its 80 named beaches, Lahaina—the one-time whaling port and capital of the monarchy—has many historic sites to visit. (B)

    Day 13: Maui.

    (Tue.) Another day at leisure for you to enjoy the “Best Island in the World.” Optional sightseeing tours to many of Maui’s favorite attractions are available, including a snorkeling trip to Molokini Island and much more. (B)

    (Sun.) Upon arrival you are greeted in the traditional Polynesian way—with a warm aloha and a lei of fresh flowers. Transfer to your hotel in Waikiki. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

    Day 2: Honolulu.

    (Mon.) A breakfast get-together with your Tour Director to review activities scheduled throughout your stay. The balance of the day is free to relax, swim, enjoy water sports, or laze on the beach. Take the optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center for authentic island arts, crafts, history, music, a dinner buffet, and a spectacular Polynesian show with more than 100 performers. This evening there’s an optional sunset cruise with dinner, Hawaiian cocktails, and splendid views of the glittering Waikiki coastline and Diamond Head. (B)

    Day 3: Honolulu.

    (Tue.) Begin with a tour of PEARL HARBOR’S famous Battleship Row. Listen to a narration of the dramatic air attack of December 7, 1941, and visit the USS Arizona and the impressive MEMORIAL dedicated to the 1,102 men still entombed. You will also have an opportunity to visit the MUSEUM, an excellent way to learn about Pearl Harbor Day, the Japanese strategy and military craft, and the individuals involved in the attack. Then, on to Punchbowl National Cemetery and Honolulu Lookout. Other sights include Chinatown, the Hawaii State Capitol, royal ‘Iolani Palace, and the statue of Kamehameha the Great. Tonight, a wonderful evening of dining and entertainment awaits! See no other show like it in the world. THE MAGIC OF POLYNESIA is the ultimate stage show combining magic, illusions, Polynesian dance, song, and chant! (B,D)

    Day 4: Honolulu–Kauai.

    (Wed.) Morning flight to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai, whose lush landscapes featuring orchids, hibiscus, and plumeria are often used as a setting for Hollywood films depicting tropical paradise. View pretty `Opaeka`a Falls on the Wailua River before visiting the beautifully restored Kilohana sugar plantation, whose elegant, Tudor-style mansion was one of the grandest and most expensive on Kauai when it was built in 1935. Enjoy lunch and a wagon tour of the 35-acre estate, dotted with tropical gardens and century-old plantation cottages. Afterward, continue south to sunny Poipu Beach and your resort. (B,L)

    Day 5: Kauai.

    (Thu.) Spend the day as you please! Take in refreshing ocean breezes from the beautiful white sand beaches, immersing yourself in the heart of the island’s beauty. No activities have been scheduled today to give you time to relax and enjoy your oceanfront resort. Optional tours include helicopter flightseeing and snorkeling. (B,D) NOTE: If you have scheduled independent activities for this evening, you can opt to have dinner at your leisure on Day 4.

    Day 6: Kauai.

    (Fri.) Start the day with a drive to Waimea, once the Polynesian capital of Kauai and the site where Captain Cook landed in the islands in 1778. Sightseeing highlights include WAIMEA CANYON, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” and Hanapepe Valley. With the afternoon free, your Tour Director will suggest an optional horseback ride on the trails and along the sandy beaches. Spend your last afternoon on Kauai relaxing at the resort, exploring further, or indulging yourself in some last-minute souvenir shopping. Dinner tonight is a splendid LUAU feast. Sit back and watch a captivating Polynesian revue of dancers and musicians. (B,D)

    Day 7: Kauai–Maui.

    (Sat.) Today begins with a short and scenic flight to Kahului on the “Valley Island” of Maui. Drive to the lush `IAO VALLEY to see the `Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Then to Lahaina, once a whaling center and the capital of the Hawaiian monarchy. Continue to Maui’s resort area of Ka`anapali, your home for the next three nights. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)

    Day 8: Maui.

    (Sun.) This morning is dedicated to HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, site of the huge volcanic Haleakala Crater, known to islanders as the “House of the Sun.” The park is in a setting of stunning natural beauty, ranging from cinder cones to dense rainforest. In 1980, this fragile native ecosystem was designated an International Biosphere Reserve. Plenty of time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your resort’s facilities. (B,D)

    Day 9: Maui.

    (Mon.) Activities abound and your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan your day. A full free day to swim and sunbathe at the beach or hotel pool. Consider our optional helicopter flightseeing excursion: fly over Molokai for spectacular views of Kahiwa Falls and Kalaupapa National Historic Park. Another choice is the “Road to Hana,” one of the world’s most spectacular drives with its 54 bridges and many waterfalls. From mid-December to mid-April your Tour Director will suggest a special whale-watching cruise to seek out the mighty humpback. This evening, your Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner. Wonderful conversation and cuisine make the perfect finale to a memborable Hawaiian vacation! (B,D)

    Day 10: Maui.

    (Tue.) Continue your stay on Maui, with plenty of activities. “Maui no ka oi” (“Maui is the best”) is what the locals say, and it’s easy to see why this Hawaiian island is so popular. Besides beautiful landscapes and perfect weather, Maui also boasts some premier attractions. If you ever get tired of lying on one of its 80 named beaches, Lahaina—the one-time whaling port and capital of the monarchy—has many historic sites to visit. (B)

    Day 11: Maui.

    (Wed.) Another day at leisure for you to enjoy the “Best Island in the World.” Optional sightseeing tours to many of Maui’s favorite attractions are available, including a snorkeling trip to Molokini Island and much more. (B)

    Following a private gathering about Hawaii and your vacation, head out to Pearl Harbor for a visit to the USS Arizona and pay tribute to those military personnel still entombed in her hull from the fatal attack of December 7, 1941. Next is Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific followed by Downtown Honolulu. View the Iolani Palace, official residence of Hawaii’s last monarchs, the State Capitol and King Kamehameha Statue. You’ll also get a chance to learn and see how Hawaii’s rare and precious corals are harvested, graded and crafted into unique island jewelry designs at a local coral workshop.     Day 3

    Fly to Hilo and head for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hear about the fiery formation of the Hawaiian Islands millions of years ago. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, stop at Kilauea Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes on earth. Learn how scientists study volcanoes during a visit to the Jaggar Museum, where you also have the rare opportunity to walk through a lava tube. Your Tour Director shares a Hidden Treasure with you before journeying on through macadamia nut orchards and renowned Kona coffee plantations. Stop at a local coffee plantation and see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed.     Fly to Maui and stop at the historic whaling town of Lahaina. Later, head to a local organic farm. From the planting and nurturing of the crops, to the presentation on the table, you’ll learn about ecologically sound and biodynamic farming practices.     Day 6

    Enjoy two full days at leisure in this island paradise. Relax at your tropical resort, shop for souvenirs, enjoy a game of tennis or golf, or go sailing. Perhaps join an optional sunrise tour to Mount Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, or take an excursion to Hana with its lush rainforest, amazing vistas and cascading waterfalls. Other options include a helicopter flight, whale watching (seasonal) and snorkeling cruises. On one of your evenings in Maui, enjoy a Highlight Dinner at an authentic Hawaiian luau including the traditional imu (underground oven) presentation. Disembark and take a short nature walk to the lush Fern Grotto where you will be entertained with songs and legends of the island and perhaps learn the hula from a hula dancer. A riverside Highlight Lunch completes the tour before heading to your oceanfront resort. (Full breakfast / Highlight lunch)

    Day 8

    Enjoy two peaceful days on Kauai. Relax and enjoy the resort’s facilities, do some last-minute shopping, or explore further. Perhaps join an optional excursion to spectacular Waimea Canyon, which will surprise you with its grandeur, deep colors and amazing beauty. Best seen by helicopter or by boat, Kauai’s Na Pali Coast is most dramatic from an ocean viewpoint with its magnificent sea cliffs. It’s hard to choose, but your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your day! On your last evening in Hawaii, join your Tour Director and newfound friends for a Farewell Dinner and toast to your Hawaiian adventure. (Full breakfast / Full breakfast / Farewell dinner)
