Voted one of the “Top Ten Most Exciting Train Journeys in the World,” the Durango & Silverton was founded by the Denver & Rio Grande Railway in 1879. Hotel: Las Vegas Hilton

    Day 12

Today it’s back on a portion of Route 66 at Barstow and then on to Los Angeles. Along the way we enjoy some of the sights of Los Angeles, including a stop in Hollywood to view the famous Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. We then drive along Sunset Boulevard through Beverly Hills and all the way to the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica, where there is time to wander around. Now that we have had our “Kicks on Route 66,” we enjoy the final evening of our tour with a Farewell Dinner. (Full breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: The Westin Los Angeles Airport

    Day 13

This morning is at leisure until hotel check-out when our tour ends. A complimentary transfer is provided to Los Angeles International Airport. (Full breakfast)
