    Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! On arrival at Honolulu International Airport, you will be greeted with a traditional fresh flower lei and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to welcome you. The rest of the day is at leisure in Waikiki to do as you please.

    Day 2

    Start the day with a private gathering with your fellow travelers and Tour Director and learn about the Hawaiian Islands and your vacation. Next, explore Oahu’s natural bounty, from lush emerald green rainforests to crystal clear, turquoise bays fringed by golden sand beaches, from pineapple fields to sweeping panoramic island vistas. Back in Waikiki, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. (Full breakfast)

    Day 3

    A full day at leisure to pursue your own interests. Relax on the beach, by the hotel swimming pool, or explore further. Popular activities include an optional excursion to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai or perhaps some early souvenir shopping at Waikiki’s International Market Place. With over 130 carts, shops and artisan stands, this openair setting, in the heart of Waikiki, remains a must-see-and-do for that special gift or souvenir. Your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your day! (Full breakfast)

    Day 4

    This morning, journey to Pearl Harbor to visit the USS Arizona Memorial and honor those still entombed on board the ship, killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Then continue to the National Memorial Cemetery in Punchbowl Crater and then travel to Honolulu’s downtown to view Hawaii’s imposing State Capitol and beautiful Iolani Palace, the only official residence of royalty on American soil. You’ll also learn how the precious corals of the Hawaiian Islands are crafted and transformed into beautiful adornments at a local coral jewelry workshop. This evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner at a popular local restaurant. (Full breakfast / Highlight dinner)

    Day 5

    Fly to Hilo on the island of Hawaii, and travel to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Mauna Loa, the most massive volcano on earth, and Kilauea, the world’s most active volcano producing rivers of fiery lava. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, visit the Jaggar Museum and learn of the explosive beginnings of the Hawaiian Islands millenniums past, and walk through an actual lava tube. Your Tour Director will reveal a Hidden Treasure before continuing on through macadamia nut orchards and Kona’s famous coffee farms. Stop at a local coffee plantation and see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed. Sip a freshly brewed cup and experience the rich aroma and flavorful taste that makes Kona coffee so highly valued. Then travel to your oceanfront hotel, superbly situated on the stunning Kona Coast.     Spend the entire day doing whatever interests you most. Perhaps take an optional excursion to a historic heiau, or Hawaiian temple of worship.     Day 4

    Head to Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial. Relive a moment in history at this tribute to the military personnel who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Next is Punchbowl National Cemetery and Downtown Honolulu where you see the State Capitol, King Kamehameha Statue and the beautiful Iolani Palace, residence of Hawaii royalty. Also included is a visit to a renowned jewelry workshop where you’ll learn how Hawaii’s rare and precious corals are harvested, graded and crafted into unique island designs.     Fly to Kauai, the “Garden Isle.” Kauai is so nicknamed because of its lush tropical landscape, which you may recognize as the location for some of Hollywood’s classics such as South Pacific and the modern blockbuster Jurassic Park trilogy. Cruise up the Wailua River and learn of its importance to Hawaiian culture. Take a short nature walk through the rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto, where you will be entertained with songs and legends of the island, and perhaps learn the hula during a lesson provided by a hula dancer. A riverside Highlight Lunch completes the tour before heading to your beautiful oceanfront resort. (Full breakfast / Highlight lunch)

    Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at Honolulu International Airport, you are greeted with a traditional fresh flower lei and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to welcome you. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Waikiki.

    Day 2

    Meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director at a private meeting about the Hawaiian Islands and your vacation. Then set out to see the natural wonders of Oahu. Discover tropical rainforests, world-famous surfing beaches, picturesque villages and pineapple fields. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Waikiki. (Full breakfast)

    Day 3

    A full day free to pursue your own interests. Shopping is a favorite pastime at Waikiki’s International Market Place, with over 130 carts, shops and artisan stands. Or for the more adventurous, try an outrigger canoe ride or take a surfi ng lesson from one of Waikiki’s beach boys! (Full breakfast)

    Day 4

    Head to Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial. Relive a moment in history at this tribute to the military personnel who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Next is Punchbowl National Cemetery and Downtown Honolulu where you see the State Capitol, King Kamehameha Statue and the beautiful Iolani Palace, residence of Hawaii royalty. Also included is a visit to a renowned jewelry workshop where you’ll learn how Hawaii’s rare and precious corals are harvested, graded and crafted into unique island designs.     Day 5

    Fly to Hilo and journey to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Kilauea, the world’s most active volcano. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, visit the Jaggar Museum. Learn about the fiery formation of the islands and walk through an actual lava tube. Your Tour Director shares a Hidden Treasure before continuing on through macadamia nut and Kona coffee farms. Visit a coffee plantation, see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed, and sip a freshly brewed cup of this highly valued coffee.     Morning transfer to Honolulu Airport for the flight to the "Garden Isle" of Kauai. Then, drive along the scenic southern shore via Poipu Beach to Waimea, once the Polynesian capital of Kauai and the site where Captain Cook landed on the islands in 1778. Sightseeing highlights include WAIMEA CANYON, known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," the lush and fertile Hanapepe Valley, and a photo stop at SPOUTING HORN, a dramatic blowhole on the ocean’s edge. Later, arrive at your oceanside hotel in Kapa'a.NOTE: Due to air schedules on inter-island flights between Honolulu and Kauai, the luau could be moved to Day 9 on the island of Hawaii.

    Day 6: Tue. KAUAI.

    Kauai has a lot to offer, and your Tour Director will suggest several optional outings for the duration of your stay, including a trip to Hanalei Bay, the filming location of many Hollywood movies, such as South Pacific and The Thornbirds. Other activities include helicopter flightseeing and snorkeling on the Na Pali coastline.

    Wed. KAUAI–HILO–KONA. An afternoon arrival in Kona. Transfer to your hotle on the sunny side of the "Big Island." Tonight, attend a LUAU feast, considered one of Hawaii's best. After dinner, sit back and watch a captivating international revue of dancers and musicians. (D)

    Day 8: Thu. KONA. HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK VISIT.

    Today tour HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK. See Kilauea Crater, rising 4,090 feet above a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire pits, lava tubes, and fern forests. The evening is free for independent exploration and activities.

    Day 9: Fri. KONA.

    Today you may choose to take in the breathtaking views of the Pacific while you relax on the decks of your resort’s oceanfront split-level swimming pool or at the private beach and saltwater swimming lagoon. For an unforgettable adventure, join the afternoon optional to the summit of Mauna Kea Crater (13,796 ft.) to view the sunset, then visit the Ellison Onizuka Visitor Center (9,200 ft.) to stargaze in the evening.

    Day 10: Sat. KONA–MAUI.

    This morning, fly to Maui, the “Valley Island.” On arrival, sightseeing begins with a visit to the 'IAO VALLEY, the “Yosemite of the Pacific,” to view the 'lao Needle. Then, through lush farm country and along the shoreline via Maalaea Boat Harbor to Lahaina, once a whaling center and capital of the Hawaiian monarchy. Free time to explore this colorful town.

    Day 11: Sun. MAUI

    . A full day at leisure to enjoy Maui’s splendid beaches or to relax by the pool at the hotel. There is a variety of optional outings, including the Road to Hana, one of the world’s most spectacular scenic drives with 54 bridges and many waterfalls. From January to mid-April, whale watching is offered.

    Day 12: Mon. MAUI. HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK VISIT.

    This morning is dedicated to HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, the volcano known to islanders as the “House of the Sun,” and its vast Haleakala Crater. The parkland is located in a setting of stunning natural beauty, ranging from a landscape of cinder cones to dense rainforest. Return to Kihei in the early afternoon with the balance of the day at leisure.

    Day 13: Tue. & Wed. MAUI.

    Remain at your Maui hotel, the Sheraton Maui, for the next two nights. Two full days at leisure, with plenty of activities to choose from. Optional sightseeing tours to many of Maui’s attractions are available, including a submarine ride over a coral reef, and a snorkeling trip to Molokini.

    This morning meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director at a private orientation meeting about the Hawaiian islands and your vacation. Then we set out to see the sights of Oahu. Discover tropical rainforest, world-famous surfing beaches such as Sunset, picturesque villages and pineapple fields. At Nuuanu Pali Lookout we enjoy the island's most scenic vistas over Windward Oahu. We return to our hotel late afternoon. (Full Breakfast)

    A full day at leisure in Waikiki to pursue your own interests. Activities abound and your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan your day.     Day 5

    We fly to Hilo on Hawaii���s Big Island. Here, we board our coach and journey to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch at the Volcano House we stop at Kilauea Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes on earth. We then journey through Kona���s coffee country on our way to our waterfront hotel on the stunning Kona Coast. (Full Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

    Day 6

    The entire day is yours to do as you please. Perhaps visit Hulihee Palace, the former summer home of Hawaiian royalty, explore the Kailua-Kona township, discover the exotic marine life on a snorkeling excursion or aboard a submersible, or simply relax at the hotel. (Full breakfast)

    Day 7

    We fly to Maui, named after the prankster son of Hinaakeahi, a demigod revered through the Pacific. On arrival, we are taken to the lovely Iao Valley State Park to view the famous Iao Needle, a natural rock pinnacle presiding over the Iao Stream and surrounded by the walls of an ancient crater. We then head to the historic whaling town of Lahaina. After lunch, we make our way to our resort on stunning Kaanapali Beach. (Full breakfast / Lunch)

    Start with a short flight to the island of Hawaii. Landing in Hilo, set out on a fabulous day of sightseeing. Experience diverse scenery as you make your way across the island to the Kona Coast. En route, explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Mauna Loa, the most massive volcano on earth, and Kilauea, the world’s most active volcano which has been erupting almost continually since 1983 and produces rivers of fiery lava. After a Highlight Lunch at the Volcano House, visit the Jaggar Museum and learn of the explosive beginnings of the Hawaiian Islands and get the opportunity to walk through an actual lava tube. Your Tour Director will reveal a Hidden Treasure before the journey continues on through macadamia nut orchards and Kona’s famous coffee farms. Stop at a local coffee plantation and see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed. Sip a freshly brewed cup and experience the rich aroma and flavorful taste that makes Kona coffee so highly valued. Then travel to your oceanfront hotel on the stunning Kona Coast.     Day 4

    Spend the entire day doing whatever interests you most. As the residence of the great King Kamehameha, Kailua-Kona is rich in historical highlights as well as fun activities. Take an optional excursion to a historic heiau, or Hawaiian temple of worship, or choose from a host of options, including boat excursions, snorkeling adventures, or an exciting ride aboard a submarine, cruising slowly through the colorful coral gardens and giving you the unique experience of a snorkeler’s-eye view of the marine life without getting wet! This evening, optional dinner and cocktail cruises are also available to experience Kona’s breathtaking sunset. (Full breakfast)

    Day 5

    Fly to the island of Maui. Many say that ‘Maui No Ka Oi,’ or ‘Maui is the Best,’ with its combination of old and new, beaches and golf courses, superb hotel conveniences and awesome natural beauty. First, discover historic Lahaina, an old whaling center and former capital of the island. There is time to walk along the picturesque waterfront, past historic landmarks, and browse the many shops and art galleries before visiting an organic farm for a unique farm-to-table culinary journey. Meet your host and learn about ecologically sound organic and biodynamic practices as you explore the grounds and sample superb local ingredients. Then enjoy a delightful gourmet lunch of fresh local produce while enjoying a glass of wine. Later, check in at your beachfront hotel on the breathtaking Kaanapali Beach.     Enjoy two glorious days to indulge in your favorite pastime. Perhaps take an optional sunrise tour to the summit of Mount Haleakala and follow in the footsteps of the ancient Hawaiian kahuna who came here to worship their gods, or an excursion to Hana which brings you to magical places of untouched natural beauty and the Hawaii of dreams. Optional helicopter excursions offer the very finest staging of Maui’s natural beauty with their unique perspective and otherwise unreachable viewpoints.
